Lovely but smelly. Beware.

I love this jacket, it is cut well, looks great on me and the white is so versatile! The problem is the fishy fake leather smell. I have similar jackets from Blank NYC and never had this problem. I have tried EVERYTHING (wiping inside and out with soapy water, vinegar, essential oils, hanging it outside, spraying with perfume). NOTHING gets rid of the fishy odor. I wore it on vacation and got lots of compliments, but after a few days I was so self conscious about the stank. Bummed I wasted the money on this jacket, even though it looks good I don’t know if I will be able to wear it much.

Fun & Fabulous Jacket!!!

Certain pieces of clothing scream out to me even though they don't really fit into the rest of my wardrobe, and this is one of them. Luckily, the price point was low enough for me to take the risk and I am THRILLED I did. This is SO cute! I love all the funky metal embellishments. The cut of the jacket is very flattering and easy to wear. It hits right above my hip and gives me plenty of room for a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. (I'm 5'6" and about 118, and ordered size small.) The silky lining makes it easy to slip on and off over layers. The faux leather is high quality and the zippers are heavy duty and eye catching. Mine came wrapped in a factory sealed bag with tissue paper between the layers to keep the studs from puncturing the material, and that did leave little white marks in a few areas. I was scared these were tears, but they were just remnants of the tissue paper left behind. A damp sponge took care of them. I'm so pleased with this! If you are debating - just order it!

Runs possibly small

Right now it’s stiff out of the package. It fits tightly, but wearable. It might loosen up with wear. It looks smooth, not the pebbled vegetable leather. That’s what I wanted. Sleeves are a good length and I have very short arms. If I had gotten a large, I think the overall fit would have been too loose in places, especially the arm length. It is comparable to the very expensive ones seen on tv shows, but this brand is also used on the main soap opera I watch. I hope this helps!

It's not blue!!

I got this jacket because in the photos it looks dark blue. It is not. It's just a black leather jacket with hoops for zippers. Looks great, feels thick and nice but it's just not blue.

Beautiful, but sizing off.

This fabric is stunning, and much heavier weight that I expected. Mine was true to color (Graphite) --grey/black depending on how the light hits it. Sadly, I used their chart and ordered a Medium based on my body measurements, but I couldn't even begin to zip it up...there was a gap of at least four inches. So beware, it runs small. The arms were way way too long, so ordering the next size up was not an option. I will be returning. Actually I would have returned anyway because one jacket arm measures 24 inches from the shoulder seam, and the other measures 25.5 from the shoulder seam. It was so beautiful though, had it fit, I would have given them a second chance in hopes that the next one would not have that defect.

great quality fit as expected darker than expected

I own a few BLANKNYC jackets so I know that they run smaller than other brands, therefore I was not surprised that this was tight, but that is what I wanted. For reference I am a 38D, with a thick waist. I am 5'10" so the bottom of the jacket sits just above my natural waist. The fabric is VERY good has some weight to it so even though it is not lined it will be warm. The shiny velvet will easily be great for dress up or jeans. The color is definitely much darker than expected it is not really a silvery gray, it is a dark bluish gray... but I love the color so no problem for me. I will keep this and wear it often in cooler weather. Very happy with the overall quality, I plan to buy another color while they still have them in my preferred size.
