Great for Guitar pick guards

This is recommended by 3m for smooth to smooth surface adhesion. I got this is for a future install of a guitar pickguard. Itvis what appears to be what other luthiers are using further installs. I have used a small piece on a small magnet and was perfect. It STICKS !

Good when not wrinkled or pieced together.

I use this a lot for my laser items. This shipment has 2 pieces that are damaged. And the exterior packaging was not damaged at all so this tells me to believe they were damaged when they were put into the box. One is severely wrinkled and the other is actually pieced together, multiple pieces tried to create one piece. These two are not useable. My advice is to check all pieces when you receive the shipment. These are too costly to have pieces that can’t be used.

This is the correct adhesive for a guitar pickguard

I love that 3M makes simple, commodity products and differentiates on quality. I will pay more for 3M. Details matter. Quality matters.

Was better before they changed it

Product was great the first time I bought it but it seems they changed the transfer sheet to white and it seems to be more difficult to work with.

Pretty great for many uses

This is pretty thin and sometimes is a little tricky to apply if you dont get the 'peal' right. I've had great results using this to hold-down materials for hobbiest sized CNC Routers. It was almost too-good when I mounted 1.5mm thick aluminum to wood, I had to pry it off and it was really hard to avoid bending the metal due to the strong bond. At the same time, The residue left behind wasnt hard to remove with a plastic razor blade.
