Easy to use

Perfect combo of great adhesion/gentle removal

This tape has the elusive good adhesion + easy, damage-free removal. In the first photo, I tested with wet on dry on the left and wet on wet on the right. There’s a tiny bit of a breach on one of the lines on the wet on wet side, but I purposefully flooded the paper with water, causing it to pool and I could have secured the tape better, so even with water pooled up before paint is added you can easily get perfectly clean lines. Tape didn’t budge at all or curl up at the ends and unlike other tapes that have good adhesion, it did not tear the paper or leave any residue once removed. Using my fingernail, the end of the strip easily came up and the tape came off smoothly without damaging the paper. It’s a good amount of tape, especially for the price and it is very thin. There were some waves in the cardboard ring holding the tape and one wave in the roll itself that could have happened during shipping (it was in a plastic shipping bag inside of a thin bubble mailer). Because it’s so thin it can be bent like a sheet of cardboard but I didn’t take off any for this because it didn’t affect the tape in any way. Overall, it’s perfect for my needs, is a good price for the length of the roll, and came in a timely manner. Would definitely purchase again.

Great for the fine details

A little pricey for a little tape, but it did the job. I had to mask the edges of my cylinder fins when I repainted the cylinder heads on my 1976 Yamaha.

Love the tapr

It arrived in a water tight package. However it was terribly warped. It is so by thin I’m not sure if there’s a work around. It just seemed steamed to me. It worded on what I needed it for

Perfect size, good adhesion, easy to remove

I needed 1/8" masking tape to execute a project I had in my head. I had been using thin washi tape which was tearing the watercolor paper when I tried to remove it. This tape was easy to get off the roll, easy to tear the correct length, and it stuck where I wanted it to stick. The paint did not seep under the edges and I was able to achieve crisp lines with watercolor paint. When removed with care, at a sharp angle, I had no issues with it tearing the watercolor paper when finished.

Not perfect but did the job

This is a wider role that was machine sliced into thinner 1/8 inch roles. Since the slices were so thin, you can see where the blade jumped around a bit making the cut not perfect. That said, I had very little bleeding and it got the job done on these tiny stripes.

Exactly What I Needed

This was exactly what I needed to tape off sections of an object I was spray painting a different color. I was afraid I was going to have to cut strips from a wider tape, but I found this and it worked perfectly.

Exactly what I needed for peg doll painting!

I have been searching stores for a long time for painter's tape which is thin enough for the tiny detailed painting I do. This is the perfect size, and a decent price. I do wish it stuck better, but it has worked for me! (Using for painting on wood). Thanks!
