It’s funny. I’ve been in our local mall a million times over, and I’ve seen this store there called ‘Alex and Ani’, and it always stuck out in my mind, because I have twins named Annaliese and Alessandra, and we call them Allie & Ani, and it was so close, it never left me. The store looks so lovely from outside looking in. I’d never know that their products are so very reasonably priced, but they are! I thought it was a very pricy store, but it’s super affordable. Their jewelry truly speaks to your heart, which makes it SO very special! I happened to come on Amazon one day, and BOOM.. this brand pops up like it was reading my mind from the store I’d recently been seeing and thinking about. Karma, perhaps ????? I had to see what they had to offer, and I’m very impressed by the brand. I don’t wear any very expensive, real jewelry. I’ve lost thousands worth, and so I stick to costume jewelry, aside from my wedding ring. I know it tarnishes over time, but care for your costume jewelry, and it will last a long, long while. (Don’t shower in it, take off while hand washing, etc.) I read some life hack tips on removing tarnish off of Alex and Ani’s jewelry to make it look like new again. A simple Google search can show you the same. So while this jewelry will tarnish over time because it is NOT solid gold/ silver, and the price tag reflects that, when gifting, know this going in… it apparently, is reversible, with this brand, from what I read, based on the types and quality of materials used. At least you can make it reappear fresh when the time comes to any fading, adding longer life to your special Alex and Ani, jewelry pieces. The prices are phenomenal! This piece looks so lovely, and nobody would guess the low price tag of this bangle. It’s adjustable to fit your wrist size, and Alex and Ani create pieces that speak to a person’s heart and their soul. That means so much more to me then speaking from the wallet. Most women would agree. My son passed away at age 9, and I’ve always felt him to be my guardian angel. I love how putting on this bangle makes me feel even closer to him, and even more reminded of his protection over me. Gazing at this piece brings a smile to my face. Every piece has its own special meaning, so if you can select the right one for the person that you love, and you gift that very sentimental jewelry to your loved one, it will mean SO much to them, as these are gifts that come from the heart. I always appreciate a thoughtful gift, not an expensive one. This brand’s jewelry is upscale in looks and quality, BUT the importance of its thoughtful reach to a specific person is what truly strikes a cord in any woman’s heart! Their jewelry does speak to you! If you chose what it best says, this gift will be super appreciated by the recipient, to the utmost. The only reason I took off a partial star on this item, was because of the packaging. It was packaged in plain plastic wrap and shipped off in a mailing envelope. It comes without any gift box included, which would be most proper, in my opinion. I think it would be appropriate for these pieces, specifically. Not just in protecting an item in transit to someone, or to store your precious jewelry in when not being worn, but in making it look like more of an impressive gift when received, whether it’s a gift for yourself or a loved one. That would be my only criticism, as thus far, the jewelry itself has been delightful. 4.25 stars for exceeding my overall expectations! I hope my review has proven helpful ????☺️!
