I love it!

I’ve been using ELF products for a while, but knew I was running low on some of my makeup items. I’m also obsessed with advent calendars and think they’re so fun. I bought this for Christmas and gifted it to myself. it was one of my favorite gifts. Definitely worth the money. I have used all the products and love them!

Excellent advent calendar

This is an excellent deal for a makeup advent calendar. Not only is it fun to look at and open, but it contains a nice variety of quality makeup. ELF is one of my favorite makeup brands due to being cruelty-free and their affordable prices. This advent calendar comes with brow gel, an eyelash curler, face cream, setting spray, primer, a deep purple lipstick, a small blending eyeshadow brush, a makeup sponge, eyeshadow palette, lip balm, lip gloss, and a liquid eyeshadow. My favorite products in this set are the brow gel, lip products, face cream, and the brush. I don't use eyelash curlers, but this one seems decent, and since they wear out fast, it's nice to get new ones. The liquid eyeshadow is a sparkly bright silver which will go with many makeup looks. It can be blended out to a subtle shimmer or packed on for a more bold look. Though the palette is small, the eyeshadows are pigmented and blendable. Since it takes me awhile to use an eyeshadow and they expire, I prefer smaller sized palettes like this. The lip gloss is on the thicker side and has a slight light pink tint with some shimmer. The balm is much thicker but not greasy and feels nice and moisturizing. My favorite item in this set is the face cream, which is a great choice for sensitive skin. It's thick, hydrating, but doesn't cause blemishes. It can be worn during the day, but I think it's better for nighttime use as it's a little thick to be worn under makeup. The brow gel is my second favorite, as it adds a subtle tint to the brows while fluffing them up, keeping them in place without making them crunchy like other brow gels. The primer seems to work well but I don't often use primer. The only two misses for me were the setting spray and the lipstick. I've tried this setting spray before and it really doesn't seem to do anything, and the mist is irregular. While the formula of the lipstick is fine, this color is not something I'm interested in wearing. However, my biggest complaint about this set is that it didn't come with a liquid eyeliner, which is something most people use and is my favorite product from this brand. But overall, this is a great selection of products for a good price.

Nice Theme

I liked the theme for this makeup. A advent calendar. I gave me a change to try products from e.l.f that I'd never used. There were only 2 that I didn't enjoy. The lip gloss that came in a squeeze tube was one. The color was fine but I haven't used my finger to apply lip gloss since high school. The consistency was sticky and thick. The other was the putty primer. It didn't go with my skintone. I'm brown skinned. Overall it would make a great gift. Also contains tools for applying makeup. Glad to have the opportunity to try different products from this brand.

Fun sampler if you like glitter

Makeup samplers are always a fun idea. This might be a fun set for someone in their teens or 20s. Some of the items have glitter/shimmer which could limit everyday use. The sample sizes would be good for a travel pounce or purse. - Luminous putty primer: goes on smooth and easy but contains glitter for a subtle summer so this would not be appropriate for office wear - Lip lacquer: goes one sheer with a hint of shimmer - Lip balm: wonderful grapefruit smell but too think and uncomfortable to apply direct from tube to lips - Face cream: has a light scent and goes on light with no greasy feeling - Liquid glitter eye shadow: definitely adds silver glitter layer - Sponge applicator: comfortable shape in a fun color - Berry eye shadow: beautiful hue of colors, middle two have shimmer - Blending brush: always good to have another eye shadow brush with soft bristles - Brow wow: I’m a brow pencil person and tried this but felt like it was harder to control and shape the brow with the brush, personal preference more than the product This is not a luxury brand but the sample seem decent and a fun way to try different looks and beauty products.

Fun set!

Everything in this set was new to me and I'm loving it! The face cream is really the only thing I'm on the fence about but I will still use it to completion and see if I change my mind. I was surprised by the primer because at first I thought it was going to stay feeling a bit oily on my skin but it actually ends-up setting nicely...to somewhat of a velvety texture. The lip balm is slightly tricky to get out of the tube because it is so thick but it is a nice product. Feels great to wear and while the consistency is thick, it is ideal for wearing and isn't uncomfortable. Plus it smells like grapefruit. My favorite item in the set is the liquid eyeshadow/cream. It has great pigment to it - a metallic silver look - and it stays throughout the day. I love how it looks ???? Plus, the packaging looks pretty and is a fun advent choice. I hacked my box up when opening most of them but I tend to make things more difficult than they need to be lol so that likely won't happen for others ????????‍♀️

Elf Advent Calendar

I love this elf advent calendar. It was fun to open up daily and find new elf products to try. I also love the size of all of the products. Easy to take on the go and travel with.

Great advent calendar for a teenager

This is a great advent calendar for a makeup lover or a tween/teen girl. I love that the set has neutral colors. I do love e.l.f products, but I feel like this set is a little overpriced. These are travel sized products instead of full size products.

12 Day Advent Calendar

This advent calendar was fun! It contains 12 beauty products from the elf brand. I will say that some of the days of the calendar it was hard to pull the product out. I had to use the brush from one of the other days to pull the item out with leverage. I thought the products included were a nice mix of makeup and tools such as a brush, sponge and eyelash curler. I liked the different makeup items included as well and felt this was fun to open up each day.

The best beauty advent calendar!

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that over the course of the last 3 months I have bought quite a few beauty advent calendars. I decided to give myself 1 surprise gift every day to help me get through a challenging time. So far E.L.F has not disappointed me! Each product is interesting and the colours are gorgeous. Other advent calendars tend to have the obvious colours and items and sometimes are broken. E.L.F may only be 12 days but it’s the quality of the product in this case. Very nice. I’m going to making gift bags for friends and family as I have quite a lot of products!!!! Thank you E.L.F. for doing it well.

Fab!- Consistently good products behind each door*

???? Finally an advent calander where you recieve great products behind every door! Genuinely wasn't disappointed with any of the products. The advent calander comes in a beautiful silver metallic box with 12 days of products. ➕️ You will recieve: 1 x wow brow (shade natural brown): I don't normally wear brow gel but gave it a shot anyway. The gel is a medium shade of brown more cool than warm. It's not heavily pigmented so it gives a natural brush of colour and filling to your brows. It dries quickly and doesn't appear to budge once dry 1 x SRSLY SATIN Lipstick (shade sugarplum): A lovely bright plum shade in a creamy and highly pigmented lipstick. It feels really satin smooth on the lips with full coverage of colour. Really like this lipstick! 1x Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow (shade she's so cold): This is one of my favourites in the calendar. This makes your eyes POP! A really sparkley silver and white glitter shadow that's really highlighting. It comes with a little applicator but I found dabbing it on the lids really settles it on them and looks amazing. It dries quickly and does not budge at all, the glitter stays put and doesn't spread. 1 x blending brush: This is a really soft bristle brush, it's good for not only blending eyeshadow but for applying highlighter on areas of the face. Really good quality brush 1 x eyeshadow pallete (Berry bad): a small pallete with 4 nude themed shades. Two of the shadows are matte (brown and nude), and two are shimmery (bronze and rose gold). The shadows are lightly pigmented so they're good for blending on the crease of the lids. They go really nicely together when using all four shades on the lid together. Gives a natural eye look. 1 x makeup mist & set: I've bought this before, actually only recently ran out of this. It's a 60ml spray bottle of setting spray. It dries matte and keeps your makeup put all day, hence why I've bought it multiple times before. Love this setting spray. 1 x luminous putty primer: I use their matte finish putty primer and love it for applying before makeup. The texture feels amazing really soft and creamy. The luminous primer has an added sparkle, quite a fair a bit actually. I'm not sure how much would show under thick foundation but wearing on it's own, wow, it really has your face sparkling! I think I would wear this for night's out as it seems perfect for that 1 x ride or die lip balm (shade grapefruit goals): This is another one of my favourites. It comes in a 12g tube and when you squeeze it, it's actually quite difficult to push out at first as this balm is SO thick and juicy. A tiny amount of pigmentation of a pinkish colour, so perfect for a natural look whilst making your lips feel extremely moisturised 1 x holy hydration face cream: This comes in a small 15g tub. It's thick and creamy with a beautiful refreshing scent to it. It applies like silk on the face blending really well and leaving it feeling soft and hydrated. I've found this fab for wearing underneath makeup alongside the primer. Great for dry skin. 1 x beauty blender sponge: It comes in a plum/violet shade. Feels very velvety and soft. It doesn't soak up all your foundation and blends foundation really nicely. I'm not a big user of beauty blenders but I've found this fab for dabbing concealer under the eyes 1 x metal lash curler: This is a standard eyelash curler. Functions great and gives my lashes a nice curl 1 x lip lacquer (shade fantasy): This is a chrome, glitter, lipgloss that's lightly pigmented with a sort of bronze colour. It has a slightly sweet taste to it and can be worn alone or on top of lipstick. I like it worn on top of lipstick as it gives it a shimmery, sparkle finish and helps keep your lips feeling moisturised especially on top of matte lipsticks ???? Overall I'm really impressed with this advent calander. I've bought one's before that were double the price and didn't have as much products that I liked compared to this e.l.f one. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be looking at theirs next year if they bring another one out.
