I’m not crazy about polyester (endocrine disruptor)

I’m surprised that Amazon Aware brand would use polyester in their clothing with it being an endocrine disruptor. However, I think perhaps the aware brand is mostly promoting eco-friendly options with this being recycled material. I’ve ordered other Aware products in the past that were organic cotton and really love them, so I hope Amazon Aware continues to head more in that direction! Overall though this is a very nice, thin jacket. It’s great for cool (not cold) weather. I ordered size L because it’s all they had left, but it’s definitely still too big for my 3 year old daugher. I was able to roll the sleeves up though and make it look cute that way. It will be good for her to have on cool nights or when we’re travelling (we live in south florida) and it will fit her for many years to come. I’d say the size L is best for a 6-8 year old.

A bit stiff

The jacket is a little bit stiff. I tried it on myself and it almost fits me (5', woman's M) pretty well in a size L. A size XL would have fit me perfectly. The material itself is a bit stiff and not too soft. It's not uncomfortable, however it is pretty noticeable when you try to bend your arms. Really nice color and pattern.

Love it just too large!

Awesome puffer jacket! Love it on first sight of the design. The color came to be a little bit darker from the product picture. Quality is pretty high, and the overall fabric is on the hard side to support the shape. Not too thin or too thick. The only thing is that it doesn't indicate size measure for the different sizes and I bought a large to be safe -- it turned out that the large is for maybe 6-7 year old, and it's too large on my 3-to-be. But guess I'll save it for another 3-4 years!

Nice Puffer

It is not the lightest puffer we own but at least it is not heavy. Puffer in great color, size is correct. Design can be unisex

Cute

Cute jacket. Seems to be fairly warm, although the fabric may be a bit stiff. Also seems to be somewhat liquid repellent, and does well to keep my little one warm and dry in a cold rain.

Simple and well made.

Amazon's Aware Puffer coat is made from smooth and shiny fabric. The material feels robust and well made. The entire jacket is nicely made and looks and feels high quality. The jacket has a fun pattern that reminds me of camouflage, but with a geometric flair. The color scheme used is bright and colorful, but not garish. It's a simple jacket. It does not have a zipper, just snaps. The pockets are open, without any snaps or zippers. There are small open inside pockets too, but I am not sure if they are really meant to be a pocket, and are not just the inside of the exterior pockets since the jacket is not lined. It fits my son nicely with room to grow. It's warm and cozy, but not meant for truly cold weather unless it's just to walk from the bus to the house. It's called a puffer jacket, but it's a very light and thin puff. All in all... a fine jacket.

Great lightweight jacket for kids

I have been very happy with all of the clothing that I have tried from Amazon brand and this kids jacket is another great piece. I got this for my son to wear for next Fall so I ordered a size up, and it seems to run true to size. It is a bit large on him now, but should be good in a few months or so. It is lightweight, so the perfect jacket for those first cool days of Fall. It is warm without being too thick or puffy. It has snap closures instead of a zipper, which is a bit more time consuming, but they aren't difficult to snap. The color and pattern is really nice in person and there are nice and roomy pockets. Overall, this is a great kids jacket for cooler days.

Great fit, well made, warm and water resistant

This is a great jacket! It’s for those in between windbreaker/hooded sweatshirt and heavy coat days, when your L.O. Is most likely to lose a heavy coat from getting too hot and flinging it on the playground. This one is sized right, and seems comfortable when my son is wearing it. I always order larger because he grows so fast—the medium seems to be around a 7-8. It fits at mid-butt on my son, so not too short and not too long. I love the pretty teals and greens of the “boys” camo so much I also got him a vest in the same print (those are really nice, too—Amazon scored on both of these items!). The stitching is tight, fabric is high quality, and has a stiffness to it that makes me think it will last awhile before it starts to wear and tear. It is not lined with fleece or anything cozy, but is lightly quilted and still very warm, good for chilly or windy days. Overall, an excellent product and I’d recommend to others.
