Pick it up, put it down, and swing it around.

This kettlebell does what it's intended to do. It's heavy, bit not too heavy the handle is perfect a perfect fit and has a good grip. Not too sure what else to say? Juat don't drop on your feet

Exactly what I was looking for

I love it! I mean we know what weights look like but this thing is mad heavy! That's the point though right? Don't think about it, just get it.

Ok for what it is

The handle is a bit small widthwise but large girthwise. After a year of owning these they are chipping and making sharp areas. I will one day get around to covering the chips with nail polish lacquer or tape, right now I am just carful and avoid the chipped areas. Otherwise they are a good inexpensive entry to the world of kettlebells and have seen us through too many workouts to count. Probably the best deal around on new kettlebells

Good basic weight

I bought this to workout at home. A good solid weight, were exactly as expected and have held up for over a year. You should note it's cast iron with no rubber, so it is very hard and could scratch a floor but it's still easy to hold and is a good basic kettlebell.

Kettlebells an in-depth review.

I am a fitness enthusiast and a certified trainer. kettlebells are one of the best pieces of fitness equipment. Unfortunately we do not have high quality kettlebells like Kettlebellkings available here in India among the options available I found these Amazon basics to be the best of the lot. I prefer kettlebells to be solid cast-Iron with powder coating, these are not powder coated but painted, which is not a bad thing as they are protected from rust but they can be a tad slippery, especially if you sweat a lot. I have ordered a pair of 20.5, 15.9, 13.6, 4.5 kg kettlebells so 8 in total. pound for pound good equipment is the best investment you can make for your health apart from nutritious food and training. I ordered the 13.6 first and the moment I held it I could tell it was a quality product. Having liked the 13.6 I ordered the 20.5 15.9 and 4.5 (4.5 for shoulder mobility exercises). The 20.5 13.6 and 4.5 kg kettlebells were all excellent, no chipping in the paint, uniform paint job, no burrs, ridges or grooves in the horns, they were beautiful. I liked just picking them while walking around the house. Their bases were even and they stood perfectly on the floor. Perfectly weighted too. I did some swings and snatches and they were great. Now the reason for my 4 star rating instead of a 5 star, 6 of the 8 kettlebells the 20.5 13.6 and 4.5 were good but the 15.6 kg kettlebell was not to the same standard it was almost as if they were made by a different manufacturer. The paint job was uneven had lot of grooves, paint was chipped the base was uneven due to paint globs, had to return one of the 15.6 pair because it was really bad. Wanted to return both but decided to keep one as it had only a few paint chips. So my recommendation to you go for anything except the 15.6 and to the manufacturer: you have a good product please ensure good quality with proper checks. Also kettlebells are not dumbells they are used for training in a different fashion entirely. I recommend that you watch some videos by good instructors like Pavel Tsatsuoline ( Enter the kettlebell etc ) or Steve Cotter they are available for free on YouTube before u begin training. Train well.

Great value for money kettlebell in the market.

Quality of the kettlebell(KB) is good; could have been better. It has a slight seam below the horn and some burr on the body. This could have been easily fixed before the paint job. Base of the KB is not properly flat. It is fine for most of the moves, except for KB-supported pushups. It looks like Amazon's quality check needs some serious improvement. Do these imperfections affect the functionality? I need to use the KB for sometime and see. The quality issues made me to deduct a star from rating. Due to negligent and lousy packing by Amazon, paint at the base came off slightly during transportation. Amazon should learn from other online reatailers like Flipkart on how to carefully and beautifully pack items with some branding. I did not go for replacement, since it takes away some days out of my KB practice. KB is big and heavy for beginners (see photos). It is perfect for me. However, newcomers with little experience with weights may go for a lighter 25Lb KB based on their fitness level. Overall, Amazon Basics KB is a good starter's KB offering great value for money. If you are particular on quality, save some money and go for better ones from a reputed company. If you are looking for a reasonably good KB to start with, just buy this one. Remember to check the KB after delivery for quality issues. If you are not happy, get a replacement or else you may return it.
