Snapped after a few years

Worked great for a few years, but snapped today. Fortunately I wasn't using it for rows or something where I could fall. Three stars because I figure that's a reasonable length of time for it to last, but I'm no resistance band expert. I had noticed some tearing at one spot when it was stretched, so if you see that, replace it

Quality on par with the best but for a cheaper price

I've bought a lot of these over time because if you use them a lot for a long time they will wear out. Resistance bands are not new but this style (full loop, normally around 50" in length) has become way more popular with the explosion in popularity of CrossFit which is great for a lot of reasons, most of which is the quality of these has gotten so much better. They used to be a matte finish, chalky, and had a bad smell to them that would rub off on your hands (some brands still do, even some that cost 2-3x more than these). These Amazon Basics ones are a nice smooth texture, provide a good trip without the chalky residue, and have absolutely no noticable odor to them. I would rate these on par or better than any competing brand in initial quality, we'll see how they hold up over time but I'm extremely impressed with how good they are at this price point and will likely buy these again when I wear this set out. Highly recommend.

I love it!????

After reading the reviews and doing my research I decided to purchase this piece of equipment. I purchase the 40-80 lbs band. Not to use to lift my body, because we both know the band has to be stronger and thicker to hold a person. I use this band for yoga and Pilate. It is amazing!!! To be honest this is the only band you will need to do all your strengthening exercises. However, I couldn't resist and went overboard with purchasing workout bands. Give this band a try it's affordable and gets the job done.

As good as higher-end brands

I supplement my workouts with bands due to their wide range of adaptive exercises at home. I have owned all of the top brands but saw this one on sale. I have been very pleased with its performance. It actually is a bit smoother to the touch, forcing me to grip harder when doing things like pull-aparts, but I don't mind getting a little more grip work involved. Great band. I will purchase from AB again.

Durable - great for strength training

I bought this mainly for strength training. I was sceptical about it's durability at first, but after using it for nearly a month, i can confirm that the bands are very durable.

Worth the value

Good for assisted pull ups and other exercises. I've used it for a few weeks only, but the product quality looks definitely good.

Not bad for the price. Cheapest I found at this resistance.

1. The band is decent but the finish was stuck together when unwrapping and left it mostly a matte finish versus the standard shiny surface on more expensive types. Not a concern for me as the finish tends to wear off all of them quickly after using them but maybe an issue if a gift? 2. The band is a bit stiff and less elastic than other bands I own from other manufacturers/branded. I know that is odd but until you try a similar sized band you will see this one seems bottoms out at a shorter length versus a more gradual tension increase as you move through a movement. Maybe it will work out in time and get a bit more elastic? It was only an hour or so after it got into the house from the cold. ******update: the band now has the proper feel to it and it works perfectly so was the cold or it worked in after using it once. I will buy more at the lower resistances now.******
