Well Made but Looser in the Leg Than Expected

My wife perceived these as straight legged jeans with a bit more material and liked the look on the model. She was a bit surprised as to how loose and big the legs actually were when they arrived. The fabric is like a softly brushed chino cotton with a warmer surface feel than one encounters with ordinary chino, and includes 2% elastane so the piece moves with the wearer with no binding or tight spots. It released the creases from being packed after a quick wash and low heat dry maybe needing just a touch up with the iron as is normal for chino cotton. My wife would skip the iron if wearing them just at home or on errands which is mostly the way she plans to wear them. They are well made and comfortable. The picture shows medium on a 5’4” frame.

Ugly

These are the ugliest heaviest pants I have ever purchased.They are tent material,huge and heavy. Like fireman pants,or lumberjack. Really if I worked outside in conditions that needed to protect my lower body these might work,but they were short! Get rid of this style for most women. Returned them.

Little bit of a bulky fabric but well made

Ordered in XS, black. Picked these up for my mom. She’s 5’, 26” waist, 25ish inseam, 95 lbs. The XS is a bit large; she’s so short so we always know a cropped pant will be a normal length on her. And of course these are. But the partially elasticized waist is pretty roomy. Too roomy. Plenty of room in the rear/thighs area too. I’d not order up. My mom likes these but I think they look too large on her and add bulk where she has none. Tho these do line up with the size chart that has the XS w/ a 26-27” waist. The fabric is thicker than anticipated, feels nice. Decent all-season weight. The tag says: 98% cotton, 2% elastane. These do make a little bit of a slightly noisy swish when walking, a touch ‘louder’ than I’d expect from a chino. Color wise, the black here is a true but soft black— while not a deep charcoal or gray, they’re also not the very deepest darkest of black. So far they don’t seem to pick up every stray piece of hair and debris like some dark fabric. The pockets are great, sewn well. (The front pockets are standard, the rear pockets are rather gigantic, see pic). The waistband button is an antiqued brass and feels solid and sturdy. There’s belt loops should you want them. We’ve had good success with the Goodthreads brand, a notch up from other very economically priced goods and the overall quality here is quite good. They don’t arrive with any awful chemical stench like so many textiles do these days. The hang tag says to be sure to wash these before wear and warns about color transfer. We haven’t laundered them yet so cannot vouch for how well they’ll do. (My mom is in her mid 70s and is old school; she hand washes a lot of her clothes, even ones that wouldn’t require it. But l’ve recommended she tumble dry on high... in hopes of shrinking these a little). The price point seems fair vs quality. Since my mom is so short/tiny it’s hard to review these because, on her, the style isn’t close to the cropped barrel look. But she likes them, thinks they’re comfy and that’s what matters. Made in Indonesia. Machine wash warm with like colors; tumble dry low; cool iron; do not dry clean.

They are well-made, But...

I thought I ordered XL but apparently ordered an XS instead. Since I'm 5'10, I was unable to try them on. However, these are well-made, and the material is heavier than I had anticipated. The seams are evenly sewn, and the snap closure is not cheaply made. I hope to get a pair in my size to enjoy wearing them. I rate them solely based on what my eyes and hands tell me; based on that, I would have given them four stars.

Comfortable and great quality Chinos

The media could not be loaded. Initially, I did have a little difficulty trying to fathom out what size to order. However I opted for the medium size. I am normally a size 14, but I was very happy with the fit of these trousers. The waistband is elasticated at the back, and I found them a perfect fit in the waist. They also felt comfortable around the bottom, with no sagging ! There are belt loops, so a belt could be worn with them if desired. There is one pocket on the back with two side pockets. The fabric feels very soft to the touch, like a "moleskin" texture. The label does advise washing before first wear, but I have not yet washed them. They fitted slightly above my ankle, so will be more suitable for Springtime. They were definitely longer on me than on the model shown in the picture. In conclusion, I am really happy with these Chino trousers. They are very comfortable, and feel great quality. I am happy to recommend them, and will look forward to wearing them. I hope you found my review helpful.

Great fit and sizing. Nice, natural colour

These are really nice quality stretch chinos for women. Although they're intended to be short ankled, my daughter is quite short anyway, so they're an ideal length to wear with boots or other footwear. The material is actually quite decent and fairly heavy weight. It feels really nice to touch and should keep you fairly warm. It has a strong, hard wearing quality to it. The camel colour looks a lot nicer in reality and has a more natural colour to it. These are perfectly suited to wear with a wide range of clothing, whether it's summer attire or more winter based clothing. If you are a little taller, stick on some long socks in the winter and you'll be good to go. These are definitely 5 star quality that I can certainly recommend. My daughter is really pleased with them.

Goodthreads Women's Stretch Chino Barrel Leg Ankle Pant The size choices on Amazon were for Small/Medium/Large/Xlarge/XXLarge but the size chart showed sizes as UK sizes and made no comparison, so it was a total guess what to order. I ordered a size Large as I am usually a UK size 14 in Dark Olive. Turns out these are actually a little too big for me, and I managed to put them on over a pair of leggings, so I should have ordered the Medium. I am also quite short 5'1" and these reached my shoes rather than above the ankle. They are very nicely made, and I like the colour. There is an elasticated panel at the back and the front is zip fastening with a popper at the top. They stretch well when you bend and are comfortable.

Consider smaller size - well made with good stitching

☑️ As described and as advertised. ☑️ Good quality control and well made with good stitching and good hems and seams. ☑️ Washes well with no noticeable colour bleeding (but washes with similar colours) and no loss of shape or fabric softness etc. ☑️ Good fit but if you are on the lower/smaller end of a size then you might want to consider dropping a size. Well made with no real complaints.

Wide leg, stretchy trousers

Just washed these trousers and will need to iron them yet. I've already tried these trousers and they fit me really well, I'm surprised that size M is spot on for me. The elastic waistline on the back is essential, thanks to this trousers are comfortable. These trousers have wide legs which are stretchy aswell. They don't restrict me at all. Fabric is strong and soft, like expected. I like the pockets on the front. There is one pocket on the back too. These trousers are a bit longer on me that they are on model shown online. On me, they are like ankle long (i could call them 7/8 long I think). I will wear them with sandals, wedges shoes. I really like them.
