Too small

Bought these for my husband. I bought a couple different brands all the same size and this one was smaller than the rest. We had to return them.

Good quality, but snug fit.

I usually purchase Wrangler or some other brand of shorts, but I gave the Amazon Essentials a try. They seem to be of good quality. However, the fit is nothing like my other shorts in the same size. Crotch room is less and can be a little uncomfortable. The waist, compared to the same size shorts I already have, is much tighter too. They fit, but are definitely not as comfortable.

Runs a size small

Quarantine has me putting on weight, so I bought a size up from the size of Levi shorts I already had. Turns out, they're the same size. The finish of the shorts is nice though. I was surprised how "broke in" they felt out of the bag. Pockets are button closures with a pocket "cover" sewn into the flap, so you don't see the buttons on the outside of the flap. Just buy a size up from the size you want and they'll be fine.

Same size as others but it's very tight

I bought several assorted shorts, all the same size. All fit okay except these, which was tight in the waist and snug in the butt.

Do not buy if you have glutes...made for thin butts.

I had no room for my butt. Otherwise very nice feel, good quality.

Passt gerade so

Ich hab sie in 44W schwarz bestellt. Meine Jeansgröße ist 42W. Sie passen, aber sitzen schon etwas stramm. Die Taschen haben alle Knöpfe zum verschließen, was sie nicht gerade praktisch macht. Das verschließen ist eine ziemliche Fummelei. Zum Stoff: Er ist fast Jeansqualität. Von der Dicke her eher was für den Handwerker denn als Sommerhose zu betrachten.

Fits two sizes to small

I ordered size 44; these are a 40 at best. Other than that issue, these would have been perfect.
