Better than expected

Great replacement faucet for a quest bath that already had everything else chrome plated. The handle is smooth and sleek. Totally upgraded the look and feel of the room. I purchased the escutcheon plate separately and hired a professional plumber to install to ensure years of problem free use. Definitely a great and simple home investment.

well built faucet

Good looking faucet that seems to be very solidly built. Time will tell. Be aware: although the faucet that i ordered was advertised as having a "Speed Connect Drain," the faucet that I received did not have that feature, and instead came with a push and pop-up drain assembly. I kept the faucet because I can live without the drain controller for the price that I got this faucet at in the Warehouse, but I deducted a star for the erroneous description.

these were relatively easy to install

We purchased two of these to replace the standard cheap original contruction Moen faucets in the master bathroom of our condo. As faucets go, these were relatively easy to install, which is great because it is always difficult to lie on your back and to get both arms under the sink cabinet to make the necessary connections. We also had to purchase the matching escutcheons (base plates) to cover up the other 2 holes from the old Moen centerset faucets. The escutcheons had to be purchased separately. The system for attaching the pop-up lever to the drain assembly is very clever: once the faucet and the drain assembly are installed, you simply connect the cable to receptacle on the drain assembly, give it half twist, and you're good to go. No more attaching the lever to the pop valve, adjusting, checking, re-attaching, etc. One installed, these are very attractive. The style is modern and sort of industrial and the polished nickel finish is really distinctive and different from satin nickel or chrome. (Polished nickel has a bit of a gold cast to it compared to chrome.) We also bought the matching Townsend toilet lever (very nice) and showerhead, which I reviewed separately. (Disappointed because it's plastic!) We are looking forward to many years of use from these faucets.

Great!

I really like this faucet, it sort of matches the older American Standard bathtub fixtures we have. Since it sits straight up rather than at a forward angle, it should be another inch longer or so for my sink but it works.

I don't love this faucet

I don't love this faucet. It seems kind of bulky--not very fluid movements for using the handle. For the price I can find something that works better so I will be returning it. I originally purchased it because I wanted a faucet where the spout protrudes out further into the center of the sink. On that respect it is better than many other faucets that we looked at. Water flow is so-so but at least it falls straight down and isn't one of those weird faucets where they put in a spiral so that the water swirls out--what a bad idea!
