Worth the extra cents per filter for brand

These are only marginally more expensive than the similar off-brand ones that often have some horrendous reviews mixed in. For me, it’s worth the extra couple of bucks for the piece of mind that these are made by the same filter brand. Literally just cents per filter more. Product itself works really well. Keeps my 5 gallon Betta tank clean with regular water changes and filter rinses.

Poor shipping, fine fish tank filters

Sadly, I have to leave seller feedback in a product review. The fish filers are fine, work as advertised, though I would say that there is some minor variability in product quality; there have been some boxes that have had less charcoal in the filters and more dust than others. Those were still usable. This is about my last order. I had consolidated two orders into one shipment, which Amazon did not execute. As a consequence of them mishandling the consolidation, the filters arrived well over a week from when they should have. (The other part of the consolidated shipment also arrived later than promised.) As it was, this package of filters arrived completely demolished. The filters themselves look intact so I will use them, but I do not recommend using Amazon shipping day consolidation to anyone. Such a shame, as I do want to save whatever emissions I can.

Bad quality only this one from Amazon

I was using the same brand and size filter cartridge for a long time. Replace it every month. Before I always used the ones that I bought from local stores. The fish were always healthy and water was clear. I thought I could buy it from Amazon and save the time. So I started to use the Amazon bought one. Before I put it in the filter I run cold water to rinse it, I noticed black particles coming out of the filter cartridge which I never noticed with the store bought ones. I thought it’s just the carbon powder and didn’t worry. But after using this filter cartridge, my mollies were getting white spots on their bodies which never happened before. I tried to change water more frequently but it didn’t help. I have been doing the same water change schedule and feedings for a long time, never had a problem before, so I started to think it is caused by the Amazon bought filter cartridge so I replaced it with local store ones. Now my fish look ok, still a little bit sick. But my fish tank water changed to super green colour. I can hardly see the fish inside even. Now I believe it’s the filter cartridge which caused all this trouble for me.

Great filters! Late shipping/poorly packed

Update: Purchased again and received quick shipping, and the box and filters were intact! Changed the rating to 5 stars! Much better experience. Thanks! These filters are great. I have been ordering them for awhile. Usually get 2 boxes of 6. I seen 12 for somewhat a better price. I noticed after purchasing them. The price went down. Overall the filters themselves are great. Shipping took awhile. (Over 10 days) the box they came in looked like it was used to play soccer with. When I took the box out. All the filters fell out of the box, into the shipping bag. Thankfully the filters were fine!

Great Value!

These work as promised and are a very reasonable price considering the fact that there are 9 in there. I do wish that they were in an even number as my tank filter takes 2 filters each time that I change them, but at least the numbers even out every other time I order these! These arrived quickly and in non-nonsense packaging. I will be buying more as my stock runs low.

Fantastic filters

I have been buying these for years from amazon for my tanks. Fantastic they work great and clean so much guck. never had a problem. I do have a problem when you look to order again and paid $39 then they went up to 49, then 59 you have to watch the price does go back to the price you originally paid after a few weeks. I now buy 2 at a time.

Came crushed but not the delivery box!!??##

The filter seems fine but the manufacturer's box is crushed at the top corner but not the Amazon packaging box?!? I think at at the should have let the customer know the box maybe damaged but content is ok. If I wasn't out of the filter and didn't have time to pick it up from the local pet store, I would have returned it.
