Fairly simple-to-use chronograph

Watches are purely based on looks. Their function is the same - show the correct time. There will be added functions and features (lap timer, stop watch, illuminated face, glow in the dark, chimes, and the all encompassing smart watches that mirror Dick Tracy functionality) but the main reason to own a watch a certain watch is how it looks because there is always a plethora of watches that do the exact same thing but simply look different. So what about this watch? As you can see, it is pretty straight forward and the immediate information is large and clear. Wear it to a fancy dinner? Not likely. Have it handy when running the Boston Marathon? Most definitely. This is a "sports watch," the reason to own it is because you use the timing functions so they better be easy enough to access while running a good clip. All the functions are relegated to just two buttons and the number of presses each receives in sequence. This makes operation easier to remember when exercising. And much better should you lose the tiny instructions leaflet at some point. As to keeping time, I have found the watch to remain constant and has not lost a minute two months I've had it. The functions and specifics of the watch are clearly stated in the description so it boils down to "does it work okay and is it easy to use?" Yes and yes. My only "issue" is the size of the face. My wrist is small and larger faced watches tend to look like a cup saucer taped to my arm. But the largeness of the face does make the display easier to read at a glance so this will be based on how you think it looks. So, again, watches are based on looks.

Pretty standard for the price

Overall, I'd say it's a good watch for the price. However, for the price, it's about the same as something you'd get from Walmart. That's not to say it's bad quality, just common. The button placement is different than most sport watches I've had (typically the light button is on the top left not the bottom right). The light up function does make it easier to read the time in low light, which cannot be said for all sport watches. I have received multiple compliments on the looks of this watch, which is not typical of watches like this. Pros: Decent quality for price Light up function makes it easy to read Cons: None really, just know what to expect for the price

Good low-cost option

This watch by Amitron is durable and reasonably priced. I like the design as it doesn’t look cheap. The color and design are perfect. It does the job at a cheaper price without compensating aesthetic value. The watch fits comfortably and is easy to read the digital display. It’s similar to the watch that my husband had in the military which he found cool. Overall, a good watch, that won’t run you a steep price.

Simple but efficient

This is a simple watch - simple digits and letters, design, and functions. But if all you want is a watch that can tell you the time and date with alarm, stopwatch and timer, this is a good choice. I really don’t need all the functions that smart watches have. A couple things could be improved - showing the month in timekeeping mode, having the current time in the corner when using things like the stopwatch, and reducing the empty space on the left in timekeeping mode. It is also a big watch, but I am used to big watches having had a Casio G-Shock.

Straightforward big face sport watch

If you are looking for a fairly basic, straightforward sport watch with all the normal functions and a pretty easy set of buttons, this one is worth considering. I have a couple of sport watches that have so much clutter on the face that they're hard to even read the time display. This one is easy to read and has a back light, so I can pick it up off the nightstand and quickly check the time I have until the alarm goes off. I like a countdown timer, date display, etc., and all these are on this watch. I particularly like the band which is more flexible and comfortable than many other bands. I would be in favor of a smaller face because this one is really big. But overall I'm happy to have this watch and its positive points far outweigh the face size slight negative to me.

Decent utility watch

- Made in China - Good water resist rating - Clear face I do like this, or rather, my husband does, but this has the same issue a lot do in that they've used a large part of the watch face up with needless lines. I'd like the actual digital face to be able to be bigger so one can read the smaller things. Otherwise it's a perfectly functional watch for scuba or other. Sturdy feeling. Nice basic work watch

I ordered this watch for my husband to wear at work as his work watch was falling apart after like 8 years. He likes pretty simple watches and doesn’t like them to be huge on his wrist. He really only needs to see the date and time And sometimes seconds. These are his opinions on the watch: The face is a bit bigger/bulkier than he prefers The band doesn’t seem super high quality but so far is holding up fine It feels comfortable to wear He was really excited that it was set almost perfectly when he opened it. He only had to change the hour spot by one. He likes that it’s mostly black and fairly simple looking He probably won’t have any chances to test the water resistance but he has been able to wash his hands regularly without worrying about getting it wet. The price seems fair for what it is Overall he is very happy with his new work watch
