She likes it!

As soon as I read about this, in a New York Times “Wirecutter“ review, I knew that my crafty, cake baking and decorating wife would appreciate it. So it was an impulse gift. As soon as she saw it, she told me it was something she had thought about buying, but had not gotten around to. She has already put it to good use. She likes it, and that’s all that matters.

Finally...

I always wanted one of these and I finally treated myself to one. Yay me! They are a bit overpriced and the price keeps fluctuating from as low as $45ish to as high as $65ish, so try to catch one at the right time. But it is a classic and does exactly what it is supposed to do and looks good doing it. If you bake a lot like I do it's worth it.

Turntable rocks!

I upgraded my turntable, and this one is great. Nice sturdy base which keeps it stable. Non skid covee which keeps the cake board in place. Smooth spinning motion makes for a smooth icing experience. Did this cute cake for giggles. Easy clean up is a bonus.

Works great, ad photo incorrect.

This cake turntable works as expected, very well. I'm writing this review for a few reasons, first the non skid pad shipped with the stand goes between the cast iron base and your counter top, NOT ON TOP OF THE TURNTABLE! The picture on the Amazon ad is WRONG. Second, at least one reviewer complained about the sound when it spins, seriously?, when you're actually decorating a cake you spin this thing very slowly, not at 100 RPM, so you don't hear anything! On top of that if you're really annoyed with the sound do what makes sense, lubricate it with some food grade mineral oil or a little cooking spray and the sound will go away.

Loved it!

I bought this as a Christmas gift. She absolutely loved it. She has a cake/candy shop and was so excited how heavy the bottom was for stability and the ease in turning the plate while decorating. She loved it!

Good revolving stand

The product is excellent however I accidentally ordered two of the same. The vendor refused request to return. Will not purchase anything from them again

(Good points) lovely smooth turn (bad points) the top has no fix on option it lifts off

Lovely smooth turn , don’t like that the turntable lifts off with no securing option , must be lifted from underneath base which takes a bit of getting used to , other than that it’s a dream to work with

Lifetime well made Ateco cake stand.

This is the ultimate cake stand for decorating and displaying your cake. I really appreciate that it is of a substantial weight. This is a true classic, made by the excellent Ateco company.
