If you want durable socks, Balega is the way to go.

I walk, run, jog, and lift weights. As a result of being very active, I often buy costco size crates full of socks. I have to because I burn through them at a ferocious rate. A pack of 20 generally lasts about a month. On a whim I decided to try something a bit different. I have to admit, I was skeptical after all, you're talking about paying more for *A* pair of socks than an entire package of them at most places. In the end, it turns out they are more than worth it. It's been over 6 months, and not only have I not burned them out, they don't even show signs of thinning. I've also had no blisters or any other adverse effects on my feet. GREAT socks. If you are a runner, you absolutely HAVE to have these,.
