Nearly perfect except one major flaw

This bottle is literally perfect in every single way except for one issue. Size, shape, durability, ergonomics, easily cleanable... it's a tank. The only downside is they didn't design where the drinking spout on the lid lines up with the handle. I imagine they put no thought into where the threads are aligned and probably vary from bottle to bottle. I had to dock 2 points for that, otherwise I would've given it 5 stars. It's very awkward to drink from because the spout points directly at the handle so you have to hold the entire weight completely upright and deal with it wobbling from side to side while you're trying to drink from it. It's such a glaring flaw on an otherwise perfect bottle. Hard to recommend because it's probably a dice roll where your mouth spout is going to be oriented. I would rather it be located literally in any other place than where mine is. It is the exact worst spot.

It’s cheap and nice so far

I’ve only had this for a couple days, but it seems to be what I was looking for! Takes about 2 ish minutes to fill up for me. I like it so far!

Better than my previous...

*EDIT This bottle's lid has an unfortunate design...where popping it open with to much...err... vigor...puts stress on the hinge... I can already see white stress marks on the lid tab's hinge...so you really have to be mindful to pop it open gently and not force the pop lid to far back...eh...kinda ruins it, since when you're pumped and exhausted...you naturally tend to smack pop lids open in such a fashion... O.G review... I'm not a blender bottle Fanboy or anything... Though I do use their products. I was unaware they had a half gallon drinking jug. I like it, it has that cool blender bottle styling slick yet textured. It has a huge lid with a huge pop spigot. This thing will pour out some water you'll end up soaked if you try to rush it...lol Durability wise anyone that's not a fool knows that if you drop these things completely full they will crack any hard plastic water bottle of this size will... If it's partially filled or completely empty it has a much better chance of not cracking. I really like the fact that there is no rubberized parts on any of the functional bits... Well there is some on the finger loop which I think is a little odd. But compared to my previous bottle which just looked flat out dorky and had yellow gummy rubberized bits all over the lid which eventually ended up looking dingy and gross and then even worse when they started chipping and peeling... This thing looks clean and classy!

love this water bottle

bought this water bottle for my boyfriend and he loves it. I chose the arctic blue colour because it seems more transparent (and it is!) which makes it see through and easy to clean. I thought the cap wouldn't stay on tight and water would leak easily but surprisingly it didn't and it closes tightly (however you do need to press tightly on both sides of the cap for it to close). there's also a rubber seal inside the lid so water doesn't leak from there either. a downside is you can't really clean the inside of the handle with a sponge so maybe use a long and thin cleaning brush to get in there. another minor thing is the lid shuts on at a point near the handle and makes it slightly awkward to drink from it (I've tried to close it a few times but it ends up at the same point - see 4th pic). overall great big water jug and came exactly like in the picture!

Small Review

I was somewhat skeptical when surfing through the reviews about BlenderBottle. However, when I got it, the quality of the jug is better than I expected. It is leak proof as there is a sealing ring in the cap. I tried to test this with water exceed the 64 oz/2000 mL line. (5/5) It is easier to clean than my older 40 oz water bottle. The only downside is that I cannot manage to clean the handle tube inside the jug. (4/5) The plastic is not as flimsy as many other, so I expect it to endure mild punctures and impacts. (5/5) Overall, I would give this product a 4.5 stars.

I love it!

I love the Blender Bottle brand first of all. I knew the other bottle I had for a fact doesn't leak and makes a tight seal (my shaker bottle) so it was a safe bet this one would close tightly, and it does! It could be completely full and you could turn it upside down and it won't leak. Love how much it holds and that you can see through the plastic so you can read how many mL you drank. Sturdy plastic and pleasantly surprised that it arrived and didn't have an awful plastic smell inside like other water bottles. I'm beyond happy! Bonus, it's a cute color!
