Awesome Product - Missing one thing...

Pros - * Flexible Wiring (not stiff) * Made of appropriate # of strands in 2GA which is clutch for the amount of amps going through it for Winch Considerations. * Length - just right if say you want to go from a Hood Mounted Battery to a Rear Trailor Hitch Mounted Winch [what I did] * Quality of Materials was excellent * Price was reasonable Cons - * Only Con I can think of is the Solder issue. It's missing (none included in the shipment and I think it should be.) My thoughts on why - Obviously if you wish to take advantage of the Quick Connects (and I certainly did) you need Solder after you cut the eyelet off the end of the wire and try to attach theseBullDog Winch Wiring 2-4 Gauge QUick Connects for Winches, etc . You can't just Solder on these little steel connectors with any old Walmart Special Soldering Iron Set, or even what you'll find at Home Depot or Lowes. I did some hunting around several stores (to National Tire & Battery, Autozone, CarQuest, Walmart, Dobbs Auto, Home Depot, & Lowes) and none of them had even folks qualified to speak to the subject of these quick connects and proper soldering with them and 2GA Battery Cables. Turns out "NAPA Know How" saved the day. I brought in the connector there and the Store Manager took one look at it and went and found some 1GA Solder Pellets (Slugs) which fit right down in the connectors perfectly. Heat them up with a Benzene torch (like you'd use for home copper plumbing) and soon as they start bubbling, stick in the wire down nice and tight and let it cool. I used a vice with wood blocks to hold these metal connectors ends without damage to them. Turns out (as I write this review) Amazon has these little guys - see product link to "1 AWG Solder Pellets / Slugs Color Code Pink" -Pico 0622PT 1 AWG Solder Pellets / Slugs Color Code Pink 10 Per Package Good luck to you - however you use it. I now use these between myExide Orbital ORB34DC-36 Sealed VRLA (AGM) Deep-Cycle Marine/RV Battery and my newTUFF STUFF 4x4 TS-12500-B Winch - works great. [Warning: The Wires do get warm, I don't know if extended use could cause heat dmg to something, but that many amps moving over 20+ feet I'd expect a little heat transfer right?]

Nice kit, includes zipties, and covers and ends

This is a very nice kit it includes the zip ties, quick disconnects, and the internal connectors to crimp onto the wire. The wire is a reasonable size. It is critical that you have an appropriate crimp tool or it will not work. You can use a hydraulic crimp tool from Harbor Freight tools. A standard crimp tool will NOT work correctly and will damage the connector. You can solider the connection but that will require a large soldering iron or butane torch. An inexpensive low power soldering iron will not work. A crimp connection is best for this application in my opinion and is how the factory connections are made. You will need to make two connections to make this work as the ends are not crimped onto the wire included in the kit like the 7.5' kit. Overall I am pleased with this kit and the Amazon price.

Nice Kit, good heavy wire

Nice Kit, good heavy wire, it is mentioned that not all brands of plug-ins work together, that is true but these red plugs will work with the grey ones if you grind out the center wall of the red plug. Then they go right together.
