Keeps things cold longer

The only downside is if you over fill it it leaks out from under the cap. I'm sure there is a fix for that but it hadn't happened yet. Other cold cups may not leak at all ( depending on brand) but don't hold as much or keep your drink cold as long. Or hot as long. I have bought 4 as having to be careful not to over fill is not as bad as warm soda, or cold coffee. And being able to use a straw despite it still keeping things at the preferred temperature is a small thing. The lid is top rack dishwasher safe ( my dishwasher has a 3rd rack just for that sort of thing) and the body of the cup fits fine on the glass rack next to cups etc. I really like mine.

This cup is amazing

Love this cup. It was given to me as a gift. Awesome and thoughtful I am a water drinker and this keeps my drinks water cold for hours. It is a nice size easy to hold, doesn't leak and doesn't sweat. Love this cup!

Great for morning coffee needs

This quickly became my primary to-go coffee mug for the morning. It holds two good sized cups of coffee and keeps it hot for hours. Works better if you heat up the inside of the mug with warm/hot water first before pouring in your coffee or tea. The lid is almost completely leak-proof, I'd say 98%. The 2% happens if for some reason the mug gets tipped upside down. I also like that the lid is a twist-on rather than the kind that is pushed in and held in place with by the friction of a silicone ring. I don't have to worry that the lid will pop out if the mug is dropped. I can deal with a tiny amount of leakage, but want to prevent a larger mess if the lid pops out. Handwashing is critical for this mug if you want to keep it looking good. Mine was accidentally put into the dishwasher on the top rack. After one run through the dishwasher, the exterior paint was peeling off and the silicone grip no longer fit properly. The inside wasn't damaged and the lid can go through the dishwasher just fine, though. Cold drinks fare as well as hot drinks do in this mug, and will stay cold for hours. If you like to keep ice water by your bed at night, get this mug. Ice cubes will still be floating in the morning. Even during the summer if I took this mug in the car with me and left it there while running errands, the contents would still be ice cold when I came back to a blazing hot car hours later. No condensation on the outside of the mug so no puddles in the car cup holders. When I know I will be traveling for awhile and will be making stops for drinks, I bring this mug to pour my coffee into so it doesn't go cold so fast or a cold drink doesn't get warm and the condensation on the cup create a puddle that needs to be cleaned up.

So much coffee!

"That's a big coffee cup" is never a complaint you will hear from me, but this doesn't even fit in the keurig! That's not really a problem though. Just thought I'd mention it in case somebody else doesn't like that. This is a really nice tumbler. It keeps beverages pretty warm. I usually add milk and cream to my coffee so it won't stay warm that full 8 hours they say, but it's long enough for me to drink it. I haven't tried with cold yet. I should probably do that. This is well made and comfortable to hold. It fits in the car cup holder perfectly. I like the screw on lid. It really keeps your drink contained. Except one time when I didn't screw it on very well. Some mornings before coffee are rough. Can't fault them for user error though. My only complaint is that the flip top lid makes me feel a little weak. You really have to push to open that thing! However, I do think it's getting a little better with use.

Very good at keeping my coffee hot

With the current pandemic that continues in 2021, I find myself drinking a lot more coffee at home versus going out to buy it. I've come to appreciate the BUILT 24 Ounce Shasta Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Coffee tumbler because it keeps my drink hotter for a longer period of time. The claims about keeping liquids hot for 8 hours is probably true if I'm pouring boiling hot water in it. But for standard hot drinks such as teas and coffees that are around 175 degrees and with the lid on, I find that it stays hot enough to my liking for about 2 hours. Though generally I finish a 20 ounce cup of coffee within an hour. Unlike some of my old BUILT tumblers, this one has a flip-top lid versus the rotating sliding one. This might be a concern for some because flipping up the lid does take a bit of effort and nails to open. But on the other hand, it creates a better seal and won't spill at all. This mug is on the larger side but because of it's tapered shape, it fits in most modern day vehicle cup holders such as my 2017 GTI. That's super important for me because I bring my coffee to-go when running errands and such.

My go to - no complaints

I have this in the teal and think I have used it everyday since I got it. I use it to take along coffee and it keeps it nice and warm. I use it at home for ice water with a silicone straw. I have no complaints. It works as advertised and has held up great. I have a ton of these types of cups between myself and my kids. We have others of this brand and are equally happy. I would order this one again.

My new favorite cup!

This cup is amazing! It ACTUALLY keeps your drink COLD! I made an iced coffee at 8 and by noon it was just as cold as when I prepared it! I even let the cup sit in the sun to see if it would still be cold AND IT WAS! ???? this will also be my new camping cup since I can have hot coffee in the morning, cold water in the day, and hot chocolate at night !

Nice tumbler

It looks great and of good quality. Good size and easy to hold because of the middle section. Color is nice and really keeps the drink cold/warm, depending on what you are making.
