Narrow calf...stiff leather
If, like me, you happen to have such small calves that the shafts of most tall boots gape at the top, you will appreciate this boot. It really is quite narrow. It is also on the taller side, so that it you have shorter legs, I could see them being uncomfortable behind your knees when sitting. For me, they work. The only downside is that the leather is extremely stiff, so that when going down stairs, where they flex, the crease digs into my ankle. It is irritating, but hopefully, they will soften over time. Final note, there seem to be two models of the Freeda avaialable- at the cK website, this identical boot has gold trim, so take your pick...

Shaft is SUPER NARROW Aand TOO Tall (And I'm 6' tall!)
The boots are pretty, but the shaft is too tall and narrow, and that's coming from someone who is 6' tall and has smaller calves! Sending them back! I couldn't walk comfortably in them, and that's the first time that has ever happened for me. I usually look for boots that are rated "narrow calves".
