Very moisturizing and smells great

I have not purchased Cantu products for years because I don't like the strong, odd scent. It's nauseating to me and lingers forever. I bought this product based on other reviews and am glad I did. It does not smell like other Cantu products. It has a light sort of floral scent but not flowery or overpowering at all. It is very moisturizing, works great for twist outs and braid outs on my 3c 4a natural hair, and most of all, the price is right, and most of all my hair likes it.

Good smell, weak hold

I usually buy the coconut curling cream but thought I’d give this one a try. It smells SO good! I get a lot of complements on the coconut scent in my hair, but this one almost smells like perfume. However it didn’t hold my curls as well as the CCC. My hair dried frizzy even if I used extra cream :(

This is just what my dried out, beat up hair needed recently. I damaged it trying to leech out a bad dye job. It was like crispy straw. In the Before photo, I had been trying to fix it by using other leave-in conditioners and keeping a humidifier going at night. It's better in the Before photo but you can tell how dried out and rough it looks. I used Honey Hydrate to infuse some moisture, then I used this Cantu curling cream while twisting to style my hair. The After photo is the result of ONE treatment with the conditioner and the Cantu cream. Just one treatment. It's so hydrated that I just wore it in a protective style for a few days, but it sure did rescue my hair. For regular use (now that I discovered it), I apply it sparingly before I do my 2-strand twists. This is an INTENSE moisture product. It might be too much to use on thin hair or on hair that is less than dry 4C type but for 4C hair - damaged or not - this is the stuff. I was never a huge Cantu fan. I tried a few of their products and kept 1 that I liked and ignored everything else. When I was searching for ways to handle my damaged hair - and it was seriously damaged - this popped up on a lot of natural hair sites so I gave it a shot. My hair is still healing, but the immediate effects were like getting ER treatment for the mess I made. This stuff is super thick and creamy. And it smells divine.

Hilft meinen Haaren nicht

Vorweg ich habe bisher immer Cantù curl Aktivator benutzt und war damit sehr zufrieden. Nun wollte ich für mein trocknen Haar noch mehr Pflege und habe mich für dieses entschieden. Ich habe es nun 4 x benutzt und leider wirken nun meine Haare sehr strohig! Den Duft mag ich.

Doesn't do anything

Bought this with the expectation that it would enhance the curl based on some YouTube recommendation. Well, it does not do a thing for my curls. It feels more greasy than I can tolerate. It hardens my hair after applying it, making it more difficult to style. The scent is okay. It is expensive. I don't want to use it anymore. Not sure what to do with it now. May be just throw it out.

Ist ok

Geruch ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich mach es ins nasse Haar es fixiert die locken toll. Je nachdem ob man eher dünne oder dicke Haare hat muss man nur aufpassen nicht zu viel zu nehmen , da das Produkt recht schwer in den Haaren liegt

Deja el pelo muy seco

No lo recomiendo. Deja el pelo super seco y no me gusta nada el acabado. Os recomiendo mejor los productos de novex para el pelo rizado.

Lleva petrolatum. No apto para metodo curly

No lo he probado pero mire los ingredientes y acabo de ver que lleva petrolatum que no es apto para el método curly. También estoy un poco descontenta por que me llego envuelto en papel film transparente de cocina.
