Nice

Decent payoff. A little dark for face makeup but I do use for my eyes and definitely works great for eyeshadow.

Buildable color

This kit comes with bronzer, blush & 2 highlighters. Works well with my fair skin tone, not too dark and is easily buildable if you want more color. This kit doesn’t come with a brush, but I typically use and prefer my own. These are decent sized palettes and all have some shimmer to them. They have a daytime summery feel to them, and it is nice for when I want some makeup without wanting to look too made up.

Subtle colors

These are 4 subtle colors in a palette. It does not come with an applicator, so you'll need your own. 2 of the colors have shimmer, while the other 2 are matte. The go on easily and the color is buildable. They are pretty powdery, so you will need to be careful when applying. The colors are quite subtle (3 coats of each shown on arm) and they come off with water. This makes them easy to wash off when you are ready, but does not give them much staying powder during the day. Overall, they are a nice daytime color palette for a subtle look.

Affordable Beauty Productthat Looks Great

This review is for the Carter Beauty Mixed Face Palette. This is in a cool "Full House" theme with four color choices labeled spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. -These are beautiful colors, with soft mattes, shimmering hues and glittering finishes. This palette includes what you need to be able to contour, highlight and blush. It does not come with a brush which surprised me but then I thought of how I typically use my own brush set and think others probably do the same. The carrying case stays closed. This stays on most of the day with an occasional need for touch up- but usually only if I have been outside and get sweaty. Affordable set with a good amount of product.

Subtle colors

This is a nice face palette with subtle colors. I like that it does not go on bright and that it comes with blush as well as a bronzer. I also like that you can layer these to get more of a pop if you want. These also stay on throughout the day quite well as advertised. I do wish that they came with an application brush as it would make it much easier.

3 out 4 work for my light skin tone.

I have light skin with golden undertones for reference. The shade “clubs” was the only one in this palette that won’t work for my skin tone. It is a dark metallic copper highlighter/bronzer. I could probably use it as an eyeshadow, but definitely not as a face product. The other 3 shades are great. I especially love the shade “diamonds” as a shimmery blush. It is so pretty on the cheeks and perfect for summer. Overall, the powders in this face palette are very pigmented and easy to apply/blend. I enjoy wearing them, just wish all 4 shades worked for me. This palette is probably best for medium to tan skin tones.

Shimmering and highlighting!

This four pack of color by Carter Beauty is perfect. The set includes shimmering blush and highlighters. This makeup is light and the colors compliment my olive complexion. The colors are neutral and act more of an accent to my existing tones. I did not notice any irritation or redness after applying. It is small enough to slip inside a makeup bag or purse. For the price, I think this set is worth considering. 4 stars.
