Very good sport watch

Replaces an old Timex Ironman. Have had for 4 weeks. Easy to read much better than some other higher priced options. Amazingly the digital compass is very accurate. No underwater tests. Watch is reasonable in size and the band is comfortable. Overall for the price a very good choice

Waterproof and rugged

Took it on multiple diving trips. The deepest it went was 60ft. Still works fine. LIiked ot so much that got another one for my kids. Compas is erratic at best - don't count on it as a feature

Excellent watch with an awful band

So far so good, I just received the watch, the watch is equipped with a world clock and a well-functioning compass, and a thermometer. The compass would be accurate if you don't keep it close to any electronic equipment, the thermometer is accurate for up to 4C. The watch is readable in most angles unless its in some angle > 5 deg and

Watch is built with good quality materials, is sturdy and good look and fell. Compass is not accurate even after calibrating it. Temperature is always wrong by much.

Sweet spot - lightweight, low profile Casio with compass and world time

I bought this watch because I wanted a tough, inexpensive, and not-too-bulky digital watch with a compass and world time, without features like barometer and altimeter which make many watches uncomfortably large (and pricier). My first impression of this watch was how lightweight and low profile it was (without feeling cheap), which is not what I would have assumed by looking at the picture. I barely remember that its on my wrist. The compass seems accurate when compared with a quality magnetic compass. There is also a feature to set magnetic declination, if desired. The compass displays for only a few seconds, which is somewhat annoying, but its long enough to convey the necessary information, and then shut off to conserve battery life. The compass was easy to calibrate. This is not a G-Shock or a Pathfinder, so you do miss out on the degree of shock resistance those product lines are known for. To the extent I can tell, this watch would likely hold up to some abuse, being water resistant to 20 bar, and with a scratch resistant mineral crystal. At 45 dollars, I am willing for it to be damaged, but I can already tell this will last me a long time as a "beater" watch. The negative display is a subject of much debate, and I read a lot of reviews addressing this issue prior to buying this watch. I am able to read the display just fine under all (reasonable) conditions, and am willing to bet some of the complaints people have about lighting and angles of view on the negative display would also apply to the positive display. I find the negative display aesthetically pleasing, admittedly a matter of personal preference. This negative display is more readable than negative displays I've seen on other watches. The world time feature is helpful. Its easy to cycle through time zones, with your home time zone still showing in the smaller display window at the top left. I share some criticisms of other reviewers. For example, the electroluminescent light comes on for only 2 seconds, which is annoying. Also, the stop watch only goes up to an hour, before rolling back to 00:00. This seems unnecessarily short. Would have loved the option to use a NATO strap, though the included resin strap seems high quality. This watch hits a sweet spot for me. I was very particular about not spending as much on a wrist watch as I would on a smart phone, and I wanted no more features than I knew I would realistically need. For me, a compass and world time was a priority. I would gladly trade the thermometer for another feature, for example, sunrise/sunset and lunar information.

The compass works well outdoors.

The thermometer and compass functions do not work full time. It is necessary to activate them by the button and the duration/visualization time is short, of a few seconds. This is to save the battery. The compass works well outdoors. It is possible to do the correlation/adjustment of the magnetic declination. Accuracy is good compared to a regular smartphone. Perhaps the difference is not more than 5 degrees. However, indoors the compass does not work properly. The watch case is made of resin, so the watch is lightweight. Cons: The strap is made of plastic, not silicone rubber.

Buen reloj

Lo compré por $752, la luz del reloj ilumina bien aunque apenas dura un segundo prendida (lo que a su vez ahorra batería), la brújula funciona correctamente, además existe la opción de establecer en ella la declinación magnética, obviamente no es tan precisa como una Brunton o una Suunto analógicas pero es suficiente para orientarse. También se puede establecer una segunda zona horaria para visualizar, tiene cronógrafo, cronómetro y alarmas. El reloj parece resistente, la caja es plástica, la correa de resina y el aro donde están los puntos cardinales parece ser de metal. Como referencia, mi muñeca mide 16.5cm

Es Sorprendente

Me sorprendio mucho el reloj crei que CASIO no podria llegar a los gustos del consumidor, es muy estetico en mano casi ni se siente el peso del reloj, yo me decidi por este modelo porque tiene 5 alarmas y un snose, y que su fondo es negro con letras blancas, eso esta de poca, mas que por la brujula y la temperatura, despues de que realice este pedido vi otros modelos de un tipo en youtube que vive en JAPON, la verdad me dejaron con el ojo cuadrado. En si para terminar el reloj es cierto lo dice CASIO tiene un desfase en el horario pero es de casi .50 mseg, en paginas dicen que la brujula es solo decorativa, mientras que en otras paginas dicen lo contrario yo digo que si te funciona no con una exactitud barbara, pero si te va a sacar algunos problemas, CASIO en la actualidad ya esta dando relojes de calidad, yo tuve el cuadradito negro de antaño, pero ya me aburri. Un consejo si prefieren adquirir un reloj CASIO, mejor ahorren un poco mas para "hacerse un regalito" y pensar por los MUDMAN, MUDMASTER, FROGMAN, G-SHOCK, RISEMAN, esos estan perrones y creo que mas de uno da la hora atomica. sale felices compras.

Reloj sólido y cómodo

Estuve buscando un reloj digital que tuviera varias funciones y este reloj realmente cumplió con mis expectativas. El material se siente sólido aunque sospecho que no es muy resistente a los golpes, su tamaño es realmente cómodo, me encanta. La luz que ilumina la pantalla sólo dura un segundo y eso no se puede cambiar, es realmente lamentable porque ilumina muy bien el display. La brújula no es precisa al 100% y la temperatura tampoco ya que considera la temperatura corporal. Recomiendo el reloj, es bonito y se siente de excelente calidad.

Relación calidad-precio excelente

*Lo bueno. Es un reloj con un diseño llamativo, con un tamaño adaptable a una muñeca mediana a grande. Cumple con las funciones que se especifican de una manera correcta, es ligero, los pulsadores funcionan bien y la pantalla es legible solo que en la noche hay que auxiliarse con la iluminación para ver bien la hora. Lo compré por la rebaja en el precio solo que hay que estar al pendiente. *Lo malo. La correa se siente muy frágil con hebilla plástica y no me gusta las ondulaciones que tiene ya que no se siente cómoda. La forma de cómo envían el producto desde EUA, muy lamentable ya que solo lo introducen en un sobre y llega maltratada la caja del reloj (ver la foto) se supone que tienen estándares de calidad pero es decepcionante ya que se puede maltratar el propio reloj en el trayecto.
