The description might be a bit hyperbolic but it is comparable to others like it- check the price points for best value

This duvet cover, is soft, it is cozy, but is the "Best, Softest, Coziest" I don't know about that. In my experience it is pretty much average as far as duvet covers go. I mean obviously if you buy a duvet cover made out of sandpaper it won't be as comfortable but judging by similar duvet covers I have owned in the past it is about average, so what you should be looking at is the price point. If you can find this in a color and/or at a better price than you can find comparable duvet covers then this is a smart buy. However, I'm going to point out the one thing that I really don't like about this and many other duvet covers. The button closure. In my experience with buttons you end up with parts of the duvet squeezing through the buttons and the buttons eventually break off. That MAY not happen with this cover but it has happened with every other button enclosed duvet cover I have owned. The description does clearly state that this is a button enclosure so you should know that before buying but in case you missed it there you are reading it here. THIS IS A BUTTON ENCLOSURE. I prefer the zipper closure but I also find that they are more expensive at not as easy to find as the button ones. FULL DISCLOSURE: This product was offered at a significant discount from the normal price in exchange for an unbiased review.

Soft, cozy!

Very soft and cozy. I bought it for the bed cover on our boat. The color was perfect and we put our comforter inside. I actually have about 5 of these duvets from this company and other companies that I use on my bed at home. I like to be creative with different colors. They're all pretty much the same material cozy, soft, wash up well and hardly wrinkle. You won't be disappointed with this one or any other ones like this one. And the bonus? They all come with matching shams.

I GOT THIS FROM THE AMAZON SITE AT A HUGE DISCOUNT!. I WAS OUT SHOPPING WITH MY WIFE A FEW WEEKS AGO!, SHE WAS LOOKING AT THE SAME TYPE SET, WITH A MUCH LOWER THREAD COUNT. FAST FORWARD A FEW WEEK!. WHEN THIS CAME.....SHE WAS SUPRISED AND VERY HAPPY!!!!, LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE!!!, SHE LOVES THIS BED SET!!! SHE PUT IT ON OUR BED THE SAME DAY!! FITS PERFECT!! THE FEEL WAS GREAT!!! VERY SOFT!!! I SCORED IN THE HUSBAND DEPT!! :). THE ONLY THING I COULD SAY NEGATIVE IS THEY NEED MORE VARIETY IN COLOR!!. BUT THIS IS A WONDERFUL SET!! IT GIVES OUR ROOM A EXTRA CLASSY LOOK! The Celine linen duvet set was not a disappointment. The grey color was perfect, and didn't fade even after several washes. The material is very soft and feels like a high end product. The thread count on the duvet cover was very impressive, and you can tell the quality as soon as you take it out of the package. I love that this set is hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial. The material isn't so heavy, and for someone who doesn't like many covers on me while I sleep, this was very breathable and light. You could use this for a summer or winter set. I do wish that the buttons to close the duvet cover were a little better quality instead of small clear buttons. Overall, this is a great purchase at an amazing price point for the quality product you receive.

Not cotton.

Deception seems to be in effect, as the Amazon chart says "cotton" but they are not. The 1500 thread count is a bit of a giveaway also, it takes microfiber to get that high.

Going to venture that this is not a 1500-thread-count, but it is soft and cozy and holds up decently well to washing for the price (I've had it for about 8 weeks and washed it as many times, and it's starting to lose softness but I suspect it will hold up for another year or so, which is decent enough for the deal I got). I got the grey set; the colour stayed through washes and it doesn't hold stains, which is fantastic. 4 stars for the price, 3 for the actual duvet

Okay simple duvet cover

I would not go as far as saying this is the softest cover ever. It has a bit of a plasticy feel to it. Soft overall but certainly not the softest and would not call it luxury.
