Great for lacrosse

Was looking for a backpack style bag for a lacrosse boy. This seems to be working great!

Great for Lacrosse

I'm giving this a 4.5, but I rounded up. I bought this bag to make it easier to haul my lacrosse equipment because I'm starting college and will have to walk to practice everyday. It fits all my gear with an ample amount of room left over, but I do admit I have defensive arm pads that are small, and very small, flexible shoulder pads. My only complaint is the cleat pocket does not fit my size 13 cleats, I can ALMOST zip it up all the way, enough for them to not fall out but it's still annoying. I guess it just gives it more ventilation! I tested the stick holders on the side and they work great but I don't think I will use them because it's a little awkward having a 6 foot stick on your back, I would rather carry it. This bag is great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an easier way to carry their equipment!

4.5 stars actually. Just received. The material is substantial and seems as if it would last a long time. Big enough to hold a lacrosse helmet, pads, and gloves with some room to spare. (9 year old) Would have given it 5 stars if it had a pocket for a water bottle. Includes a belt across the stomach with pockets on it and a detachable pocket for a cell phone. The bag on my son seems a little too big, but he will grow into it as I expect this bag to last a long time. I am surprised at what seems to be such great quality for such a reasonable price. I will edit this review if things turn for the worse, but I don't expect them to.

The bottom of this broke one month after use--just to and from school for a 5th grader who takes good care of this things. He didn't drag it. He had two 2-inch binders, a pencil case, a slim hardcover science book and that's pretty much it. The bag weighs a lot with nothing in it. Old Champion backpacks I THINK had little rubber stoppers/plugs on each corner of the bottom of the backpack--this one didn't. Rubber came completely off the one side of the bottom, exposing the fabric. I need to buy him another expensive backpack. Surprised because he had a used Champion backpack (again--think it had stoppers on the bottom) and it lasted (even being previously used) for TWO school years.
