Perfect Gift!

Bought this jacket for my dad since he doesn’t like thick jackets. I wanted him to feel a bit warm and stay protected from light rain. I live in a normally hot city, we have winter for like month so it’s not really meant for that but more for like the rain which we get more than winter time. So far it’s been good, it’s light and comfy and he’s happy. Definitely recommend!

A 2XL was a bit snug but this 3XL is a bit large. I guess I am just in the middle but bigger is better. I would have preferred Velcro cuffs but these elastic cuffs are just the right tension on my wrists and the sleeve length is good too. There is no hood but I rarely use the hood anyway. A outer zipper chest pocket would have been nice but there is one inside pocket. Overall I like this jacket and works fine as a light to mid weight windbreaker on cool days.

Classic James Dean

Growing up in California in the 1950s, you had to wear the McGregor Anti-Freeze jacket that James Dean wore in Rebel. Mine was navy blue. Never left home without it. Over the years, times changed and the McGregor jacket is long discontinued. I searched for a modern version, but could not find. When my navy blue Charles River Triumph jacket arrived, I put it on and looked in the mirror. Felt as if I were 19 again.

Very Good Jacket

This is the very definition of a solid, lightweight, water repellent jacket. The quality and fit are very good. I got an XXL because I plan to wear a vest and shirt under it. I wish it had two inside pockets, but that's really no big deal. Maybe it's just me (probably is), but one of the things I like most is that there is no obnoxious embroidered or screen printed logo on the front left or right chest. Not one on the back neck area either - not even on the zipper pulls! I'll give it 5 stars just for that!

Nice jacket for spring

This is a wind protection jacket for spring. I don't think I would wear this out in a driving rainstorm, but, maybe in the fog/light drizzle. But, for those windy spring days and running to the market, hey, I'd buy this again. The fit is just as expected. Shipping was a little slow for this product. Cons: made in China. Zipper got stuck on the first pull, so be careful on the first pull of the zipper. The fabric overlaps the zipper. Pros: light in weight, true black color, side pockets nicely placed. Nice turn up collar for wind block.

Longer and looser than expected.

For reference, I an 5"11, 155 lbs and waist is 33. I bought a medium jacket. The sleeves have an elastic band insert in the cuffs. The cuffs are loose on me, and with use will only get looser. I expected a short jacket, but the length on me is down to the bottom of the zipper on my jeans. The bottom of the jacket has a drawstring adjuster, which is a really good thing, because the bottom cut is definitely sized for someone with a pear-shaped torso. The color is very bright and shiny. The front zipper slides well. The jacket is a reasonable value for its price

Great jacket!

I bought the black jacket almost 3 years ago and it's still holding up well, it's one of my favorite all around jacket. Now I bought the dark blue one and I already know this will hold up for years again.

Great Fall and Spring jacket.

Nice looking and fitting windbreaker type jacket. I was a little worried upon ordering on whether I got the right size after reading the reviews saying it ran big but I usually take an XL and that's what I got and it fit perfect. Slightly loose but just how I like it so there's a little breathing room but it is not baggy at all. Sleeves and top to bottom of the jacket were just the right length.

Great jacket !

Love the jacket ! Good fit for plus size guy. Windproof and waterproof ( in a light rain fall so far). Good pockets with zippers to keep things secure. The only improvement I could suggest is - double toggled adjustments ( 1 on each side ) for the elastic bottom edge. Having only the one side leaves you with a large elastic loop if you need to cinch in the bottom. If you leave it as one side , then add a looped snap on the inside liner to keep the excess elastic loop tucked up and away.

This doesn't come with a hood.

After the coat arrived it appeared to have no hood. I looked everywhere around the collar thinking it might have been one that you could stuff behind a zip, but as it turned out, that wasn't there either. Complete waste of money, considering a hood is shown in the preview images.

Looks good and fits well, and it's long, which is great.

Just got it so we'll see how the wear and tear goes. Happy so far. My main problem is that Canada Post, once again, doesn't make an effort to deliver it. Probably half of the stuff i've ordered, i have to go get at the post office even though i'm home when they say they tried to deliver it. This time, not even a notice in my mailbox. I stayed home because i could see it was out for delivery. No knock, no buzz, no notice and i was by the mailboxes at the time he says he tried and no Canada Post van in my parking lot. Kind of ruins the online shopping experience. Not the seller's fault, but it does affect my overall enjoyment of the product.

Nice jacket

I like this jacket. My size L fits a bit snug across the shoulders for my 5' 9" 200 lb body and the arm holes are a bit small so it's a bit awkward to get on, but once on it looks great. Pockets are a decent size and the inside chest pocket has a snap closure. Only a nylon lining but the outside material really breaks the wind and resists a light rain. I have worn it comfortably in 10-12 degree Celsius weather and it's fine with only two light layers underneath.
