Easy to assemble

I like that it does not require cutting to use this closet rod. It appears sturdy enough to hold average clothes. Yes, the end caps are plastic, but they do not appear flimsy. The end caps have a small tab that 'clicks' into a hole in the ends of the rod to keep it in place. The screws provided are actually a little large for their intended use, in my opinion (I used my own). I was pleased the rod stays straight as it extends and does not droop in the center. As with any adjustable length product, it will logically become slightly less sturdy the further you extend it, but I was pleased that I could not notice a difference. If you slide the two pieces in and out a lot the paint might scratch, but I cannot think of a reason to do that in the first place. In my case I used it as an inside mount curtain rod. It works well for this use also. I placed the rod through the curtain pockets. They slide easily, and it looks nice as a curtain rod.

Great closet rods , I bought a kit to go in my closet. And decided to have four double rods so I could hang more clothes.

Not round or oval (tear drop) but like it anyway!
I only used the rod part (as previous home owners apparently took the rod out of the closet but left the attachments) I was surprised that the rod is not round or oval, but tear drop shaped. (It was my own fault since it is in the description...) Even tear-dropped, it works great, the matte finish is nice, would buy again.

Good purchase
This closet rod was super easy to install and looks great. I put it in my entryway coat closet and it handles all my heavy coats/jackets/sweatshirts very well. It also has a button above the top of the rod to make sure it won't pop off the sides, which is great. the color isn't my favorite but I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new closet rod. If any issues come up, I'll be sure to update my review.

I looked forever for a sturdy closet bar that was expandable. I have a very confined closet space and the bar needed be smaller than the doorway but also expand to fit the existing framework for shelving. All the options I found were way overpriced until I found this bar. The price is perfect and the bar is very sturdy. I'll update my review later if there is any sign of the bar bending under the heavy weight of my full wardrobe of over a dozen dress shirts and 6 suits.

For me, it was literally a ten minute instalation, and done.
Just arrived today and was very easy to install to an existing wood surface shelf support. It seems strong enough for the light to medium duty I will need. I would suggest they include a plastic collar or sleeve to fit over where the two poles slip into each other to make it easier to slide the hangers, but otherwise, a nice product and easy to install. Note: narrow closet (38"), with existing mounted shelf support, but drywall anchors were included.
