Kept my son's legs dry during heavy rainy hike

Great rain pants - wear them over a base layer or light pants. These kept my son's legs totally dry during a really rainy 10-mile hike

So versatile!

These are so great. I didn’t know what I was missing out on, I’m so glad I finally learned about rain pants and got a pair for my daughter! We live in the desert so I didn’t think rain pants would be probably that great of an investment but decided to grab a pair while planning a trip to the Oregon coast in October. These performed BEAUTIFULLY keeping out sand and water. No issues at all until grandpa took her out to run off some energy in the sand and didn’t seal the pants around her rain boots. The seal is important and very effective! We have used these for beach going (sand and water), puddle jumping in downpours, mud squishing, and over snow pants. They do an amazing job at keeping all the nature wet and otherwise out of rain boots and keeping anything underneath totally dry! They have become an essential part of her wardrobe for these types of activities. They dry quickly, water just rolls off of them. I haven’t put them through the washer or dryer so I can’t speak to that, I’ve been afraid to lose the waterproof aspect so I just rinse them off using cold water in the sink when they get dirty. It seems to work fine. Overall I’ve been extremely happy with these rain pants. For something I didn’t expect to get so much use out of, these were a stellar purchase.

Keeps everything dry in all weather!

My kid is in a nature program and is outside for hours at a time in all weather. The other night, he came home with his socks dripping wet despite “weatherproof” hiking boots, his shirt soaked through to his chest underneath his “rain jacket,” but when he removed these pants, his cloth pants under were completely dry! Durable, has held up over several washes, and completely effective! I will go back and buy a pair for my other kids too! Worth every penny.

Seem to do their job

Bought in a 3T and in an XS for my large 2YO and small 6YO. Easy to slip on over pants and when they’re using the Velcro closures at the bottoms seems to work well at keeping the legs and pants dry. The XS is pretty big for the 6YO (42lb 19” waist 46” tall). They’ll stay up when wearing pants underneath but are long on the inseam so when the Velcro doesn’t get used they drag on the ground and already are showing some cuff wear. The point was buying something to grow into and these seem like they’ll last a couple seasons at least as long as proper care is taken of the bottoms. The 3T is only slightly big on the 2YO (33lb 19” waist 38” tall). When worn with snow boots they don’t even drag on the ground. Unlikely to get grown into wear out of these but honestly not expected for a 2YO anyway. They’re still growing too fast

Kept dry through 18 holes of golf and 5 1/2 hours of rain.

I bought this for my daughter to use on the golf course when it rains. The fit was comfortable and loose enough to not inhibit her golf swing. The 1st time she used it she played 18 holes in the rain for 5 1/2 hours and was kept completely dry and it also helped stop the wind. Great product!

These are the ones you have been looking for.

My son attends an all year outdoor school. They climb trees, kneel on rocky ground, wade in streams, slide down rocky and muddy hillsides… I work there too and have watched kids tear up many other more expensive rain pants, or get soaked through. These held up on my son with no rips or wear for an entire year, and have been passed on to another kid now. This is 20 hours a week of use!! We wrap the Velcro tightly around his boot and he can wade through streams without any leakage. He is a slim build, and these pants accommodate a base layer and second warm pant layer underneath them.

Waterproof, Durable

Nothing fancy. Very durable, very waterproof, and they launder up pretty well. Bought them knowing they were too big. He grew into them in December and grew out of them by May. They look as good now as they did before six months of outdoor recesses in the rain and snow.

Sizing is confusing

Got these in perfect condition. I just wanted to let other readers know I ordered a size small. The tag on the inside of the pants say small (8). Which seems about right when I had my child try them on. She is 6 years old (on the taller side) and they are LONG. I will hold on to them for next season though. They will likely fit into her rain boots for the next few seasons.

A must-have item for any school age kid!!

I bought two pairs of these. XXS (for ages 4-5) for my kid going to K in September 2021. XS for my other kid who is in grade 1. They are water proof, good fit (lots of room for them). They also run quite long with Velcro at the end leg opening so you can make sure it’s all secured tightly around rainboots. I’d let my kids put these on and rain coats on so that they can have some splashing fun in the puddles on rainy days. I try not to put them in washer too regularly. I now just rinse them in the sink or with a hose, and hang to dry.

True to size

Fit true to size. Look quality but if your looking for warmer pants don’t get these. They are just splash pants with no liner.
