Not waterproof, but a very comfy shoe.
I purchased these bc they are supposed to be waterproof. Mine are not. Wore them in Colorado in 36 degree weather & I can feel air coming into the toe bed so my toes were cold. Maybe they didn’t waterproof mine all the way idk or not at all bc mine are not. I wire regular athletic socks today, but will try them again with wool socks later. Either way they are one of the most comfy boots I have ever worn. The cushioning is magnificent. I’m disabled & have bad knees, hips, & spine & these were the most comfy shoes I’ve probably had in my life. I say that as an LL Bean, Land’s End, Merrel, Keen, & Columbia long time wearer. I got the baby blue color for around $40 with tax which is a great deal imo. The only big issue is I purchased them for winter walks with my dogs so they won’t work for their intended purposes. My dilemma is whether to keep them for spring boots. The light color means they will get dirty fast so idk. I just know they are crazy comfy & feel wonderful on my feet. I might try them with some fleece socks too & probably just spray them with boot waterproofing. They are like a canvas tennis shoe. The material they are made out of. So super light which I love due to my disabilities, but I don’t think I’ll be wearing these in the back country walks bc of the color I picked. Which I picked solely based on the price. I’m cost effective not cheap lol. I admit when I got them from the amazon locker they were so incredibly light that I expected garbage. While these are very light they are also an excellent walking boot imo tho if you need them to be waterproofed good luck bc mine are not. If you are sticking to plowed roads & sidewalks & avoid big drifts of snow & wear a thick wool sock these will probably work very well if you’re looking for a comfy hiking boot. Unfortunately I need something that can go off roads into the wilderness & snow drifts bc that’s where my service dogs prefer to walk. Lol.

Cute color but…
Not comfy at all, no insole support, really firm

Hermosos, super livianos y cómodos
Muy cómodos, he realizado caminas largas de hasta 20 km en terrenos complicados, lluvia y lodo y han funcionado perfectamente, cómodos, no molestan los pies, fácil de limpiar.

3rd Pair - first that are primarily canvas
I buy these about every 2-3 years in leather and have never had an issue. We have moved from a mountainous area to a warmer climate near the beach and so this year I went with the lightweight canvas instead of leather. I LOVE THEM; they are really comfortable. I had trouble finding them in the lighter color so I had to pay a little extra, but well worth it. These are great for walking the wooded trails near the beach or bay in warm weather, not too hot, but protected in the cooler weather too. Our winters are in the mid 60s to 70s and these are perfect!! I am hard to fit, usually get a 5 in the leather so that is what I did with the canvas; glad I did as the canvas does not have as much "give" or stretch and I can still wear socks without any slipping. I wear a boys 3 in Nike and the ladies 5 with normal or thick socks work well. Highly recommend for warmer weather hikes.

Lightweight, comfortable, but....
I hiked with these boots in the Adirondacks during a muddy season and they held up great! My feet stayed dry, I was comfortable for the entire 11 or so miles that I hiked, and I felt like they had good grip on the various terrain that we hiked. I am not a big fan of hiking boots - I have always wore trail runners - but I will definitely wear these more often! Update: After an entire season of hiking - in tough terrain and with muddy, wet conditions, I will say this....the boots are great in terms of grip. I went down a LOT of wet, slippery, rocky slides and the grip on these shoes was the best I've wore to date. HOWEVER, with wet conditions in the back country comes mud. I walked through a LOT of mud, and although my feet stayed 100% dry (which was SO nice!) I will say that it ruined my boots. After each hike I cleaned the boots thoroughly. By my last of this season I noticed that the toe of the shoe was bending and sticking into my foot and it HURT to wear these boots. I will also say that I navigated down steep sections of a mountain in these boots for approximately 3 miles and by the end of it I would have rather crawled! The blisters on my feet - whether from the steepness or from the boot itself were the worst yet. I'm going with the latter. Overall, I DO love these boots - despite my complains. I would purchase them again for a second try and this time, if it's possible, I will stay out of mud where feasible, though not likely.

Narrow, which is what I needed!
I finally found hiking boots that are narrow and don't look HUGE on me. I wear size 10 but I'm 5'8, wear a size 4, so I have a hard time finding shoes that don't make my feet look ginormous against my smaller frame. These are perfect! And the price is right too! This is my 1st pair of Columbia boots but it definitely won't be my last!

Perfect size and is truly waterproof!
I've been wanting a pair of hiking boots for a while, and when I saw these go on sale, I snatched them up – best decision EVER! They are very sturdy and comfortable, with enough space to wear either regular socks or thermal/thicker socks during the colder months. Best part is that these are TRULY waterproof! I went on a hike where I had to cross a small stream, and my entire boot was dunked in the water, and my feet were left completely dry! Absolutely love how cute they are for a pair of bulky hiking boots (if you're into the hiking aesthetic), as well as the fact that they get the job done!

Excellent shoes
I was looking for a good hiking boot that was not too heavy, had good ankle support and good grip. I found all of that in these! They fit/felt great right out of the box. Took them out for first hike on steep trail with lots of rocks and roots in Jasper today for about 3 hours, but would recommend you break them in first. I felt secure and steady in them. And they supported the area where I broke my toe/bones on top of my foot a year back…it still hurts once in a while but these shoes relieved pressure areas in the arch and top of my feet without aggravating the old injury. The colour is just right, not too loud at all. Great shoes.

Columbia wins again
Love Columbia. I have trouble fitting shoes due to a narrow heal. I previously bought Columbia Ice Maiden winter boots, and with additional insole they are a perfect fit. So,. I also ordered memory foam insoles from Amazon to go with these trainers and they hug and support my ankles, they’re a perfect fit for my summer walking. Great support, good traction. I ordered size 9. My feet are approx. 10 inches long, 3 inches across base of heel, 4 inches across ball of foot.

Good boot once broken in
Took a bit to break these boots in. Got a size 8 and they will only fit with thin socks on. So far they are water proof. Light weight. Good boot ????

Great boot
Comfortable and durable, does well on the rockiest and slipperiest of terrain. Really grips the dirt on steep inclines/declines. I could have sized down though would be my only negative!
