Nice thick durable coat

Not warm

I got the Jacket for my 11yr old daughter thinking it would be warm for winter in Illinois. She has said that on its own it’s actually cold not warm at all. I have had to order her a thick sweater to wear under it. I regret buying it, for the price they should add a fleece sweater to come with it or add a fleece layer on top of the material that’s inside.

Wish I bought more!

We got this jacket on sale. We live in South Dakota and this jacket is PERFECT for the arctic blasts of -16F high that we’ve had. I only wish we bought bigger sizes for future years for my daughter.

I bought this jacket for my daughter who wears girls xxl 18 and fit perfectly with some room. Perfect coat for winter, price was great under $100 and the jacket has a feature to grow with them, to have the sleeves get longer which is perfect for those kids who grow fast.

Lovely, stylish coat

This is an awesome coat, and I got an amazing deal on it when I purchased it in the spring. It is warm without being too bulky, repels water, doesn't show stains too easily, and is cute to boot.

Will never buy anything other than Columbia!

I live in Colorado and have 3 kids that have to take the bus to school. Every year I hear complaints about how cold they always are. With last year's snowmageddon storm, I decided that this year I would splurge a little to find them the best and warmest jackets. We needed waterproof and incredibly warm jackets for when their waiting for the bus. I spent hours researching and this jacket came up on my list. I received the jackets and wanted to wait until the first snow to write a review. Upon first glance, I was impressed with the quality of the jacket but skeptical over the lightweight nature of the item. How could a winter coat on the lighter end keep my kids warm? The style of the jacket is quite fashionable and will undoubtedly go with all occasions. Today we had our first winter storm and my kids needed to wait for the bus in 17 degree weather. I no longer have concerns if this lighter jacket will keep my kids warm. Both of my girls commented how they never became cold. They were both able to stand at the bus stop warmly. The pockets are warm enough to keep their hands warm. The hood keeps in heat to make the jacket comprehensive in it's warming effects. I love the reflective omni-heat feature and the omni tech aspect. Though these jackets are more than what I typically spend, when my kids outgrow this jacket, I will undoubtedly buy them another! It was money well spent to keep my kids warm and safe. I know hold Columbia to the highest regard! In the attached picture, my child is 5yo and we bought an xs. We wanted to go on the larger end so that it lasts longer

Great insulation and waterproofing.

Bought as a gift. Very warm and waterproof was very good. The fur was nice as well. Would have given 5 stars if it weren't for a fact this product doesn't have extra large. I would have liked to exchange the large to extra large but there is none. Otherwise it is a good buy.

Pretty and technical go hand in hand on this ultra warm and fully waterproof winter coat. I bought it and absolutely loved it for its combination of superior synthetic insulation and a thermal reflective lining for heat retention. I bought 2 (for me and my mother- 5'1 121lbs ) and based on the size chart I chose size XL, which was exactly as I was expecting it. Perfect length and fit. Great jacket!

Excellent coat

I always like to purchase columbia coats for the winter for my daughter. We are always impressed and this one didn't disappoint. Our daughter is 5 and we purchased a XS which fit perfect and will allow growing room for the winter should she decide to have a growth spurt. The quality is always amazing. The coats keep your child warm and snug what ever the weather. Anyone looking for a good quality coat that lasts should 100% buy columbia.

Great winter jacket

I used jackets with omni heat before, am a bug fan and wanted one for my daughter. She loves it..kept her warm with just a light jumper under on cold bonfire night. The hood lining tends to get in the face a bit , but is removable. Also feel the sleeves are a bit long Can get warm a bit quick if worn in a train or car for instance and may need to be taken off and on a lot
