Good enough dor travel

Flimsy Backpack

I would have thought paying $60 for this backpack it would be more sturdy and not paperweight! Disappointed in the quality not to mention I bought it for my 2 iPads and charging cords! No padding to protect what I’m carrying inside! I believe Columbia should have done better! More expensive doesn’t mean it’s better!

Picture not quite accurate, but I love the floral print

This backpack is a bit odd. The word "Columbia" is present as pictured, but in red, not gray like in the picture (the red does help it to be less noticeable, which is a good thing in my opinion...though, it would be better not to have it at all). And the "a" at the end of "Columbia" is cut off, which is weird. I'm returning it and going with the 30 liter size instead, as this 22 liter size is too small for my needs. The one thing about the 22 liter size that is better than the 30 liter size is that the 30 liter size (ASIN : B081KJS6D6) has a mesh water bottle pocket on the side, which I hate, as mesh is prone to ripping. The 22 liter size has a water bottle pocket that is made with the backpack material, which is preferable.

Bought this for my 7 year old to use as a backpack for school. He likes it. It came as described. I also bought it while on clearance so I payed very little. From my experience Columbia backpacks hold up very well for small kids and the strain they put on them. Im happy with this purchase.

amazing!!

I LOVE IT. it’s columbia which is one of my favorite brands but it also is amazing quality. i got poured on when i got off the bus the other day and my notebooks barley got wet. not only that since covid started we have been caring our laptops back and forth from school and home, and my laptop didn’t get wet in the laptop pocket! i’m amazed!

It's light, looks nice, very good for quick use, not a lot of compartments, back side without any kind of ventilation or hip belt... But I like it ;-)

Plenty of Room

This is a great backpack. My granddaughter has to carry her computer & books around all day because they don't have lockers. Everything fits easily.

Perfect rucksack for everyday use, and it looks great too!

I like this rucksack for many reasons. One of the main reasons I was attracted to this was because of it's traditional size and look, especially with the front pocket which has a lot of space. The main compartment can fit lots of every day items in, and there is also an interior pocket on the back which is great for putting things in which you don't want squashed or bent, such as books or things that get tangled easily such as headphones or other wires. The front pocket is really good and spacious, and is handy for things such as packets of medicine, plastic cards, pen drives, any little items you need to get to quickly. The durability of the rucksack seems really good too, and having used it for many months, i've noticed hardly any wear at all. It looks great and most of all, very practical if you're looking for an average size backpack. Ideal for daily activities wherever on the globe.

Pretty spacious bag

I love the design of this bag, is very interesting, eye catching. The bag is very lightweight as the fabric is rather thin, however its waterproof. The back of this bag and adjustable shoulder straps are padded for best comfort and even bottom of the bag have good support, which I like. Stitches seems very good, well made. Bag have large internal space with one divider for laptop. Outside is one good size zipper pocket with one divider. On the outside of this pocket is elastic band divided by 6 gaps- I think we can place pen there or fasten shoes by shoe laces to the bag (obviously not to heavy stuff because the zipper of this pocket may break). But overall it's good idea to have this option just in case. On the side is pocket with elastic band on the side to fit all sort of water bottles, which is great idea as many bags dont have that option to fit wider bottles. I like this bag, it's good for older children, teenagers and even an adults. Laptops can be heavy so we dont like to carry an additional weight of the bag, but on the other side, heavier bag means thicker fabric and better protection to our technology placed inside of this bag.. Bag is a bit expensive but looks very nice.

Nice as an occasional daypack

I like Columbia products - they're well made and funtional. This backpack is no exception. Clealry aimed at women with its pretty design and colours, this would be great for a college student. It does feel quite flimsy and light - but for not-too-heavy use, it's great.

Great backpack,

got this for my niece's new academic this year after lockdown. She loved it Always love the quality of Columbia. She is 14 and its perfect size. big enough to carry book and laptop, plus additional for other electronic devices such as mobile phone and tablet. it can be separated neatly. Highly recommended.
