Love This Shirt

I love practically everything about this shirt. The colors and the design appeal to me. I like that the UV protectant effect makes the shirt kind of shimmery. Love the way the arm length fits over your hands and that the thumb holes don't cut off your circulation. I also like that there's straps where you can scrunch up the sides. My only negative is that the shirt is shorter than I would have preferred. It hits me right below my belly button, and I tend to like things to be a bit longer and hit around the hips. I still love the shirt overall and the feel of it so I'll keep it, but I just won't wear it out in the general public.

Yes- it's shiny, SIZE UP , Great shirt for keeping the sun rays off you!

The media could not be loaded. First of all, the product description is wrong- these shirts are not made of cotton. They are in fact 100% polyester with a plastic scale-like pattern on them which glints when the sun's rays hit them just right. The scale pattern is what helps to block out the sun. Some people may find the "disco ball effect" too much. But chances are, if you like glittery things then you will love this shirt. Positives: -You can wear a dark bra under these shirts and the color will not show through. -Glittery, but only in the right light and just a touch. -Cute ruching on the sides and thumb holes to further protect your hands from the sun. -Keeps me cool and protected even while hiking in flaming-hot Arizona. -Also good for watersports or fishing. Con: -Runs small, that is why I'm knocking off a star. I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs and bought two of these shirts in medium and had to exchange for large. Size up!! I love these shirts. If you like these shirts, then you may also like the 'Columbia Women's Tidal Deflector long sleeve shirt,' because those use the same style of glittery fabric (I own like four of those shirts, I'm not going to lie, lol). Very uncomfortable crinkle sounding material

Every squeeze an old water bottle or crinkle lined pet toy and find yourself dreaming of wearing it? Me either! The stripes are layered with that plastic so no matter what you do every move crunches. The outer plastic has no give either so it’s like little tight rings all over your body if you carry yourself plus sized it’s just the worst Columbia brand shirt I’ve ever owned and I love this brand. No idea what ti do with this shirt can’t return and hate to donate it to some nice folk that can’t afford to buy new clothes that they really need. Wishing I’d donated the 20$ to charity what a waste.

Good sun shirt for fishing or low level activities

Fabric: very densely fabric a little plastic like. Works well to block the sun but not very breathable/cool. Would be too hot to wear in the hot summer. Design: very pretty color pattern. I actually like the shimmer. Fit: compared to Columbia shirts I bought years ago these are smaller for the same size. That said, Columbia had made shirts way too big for about a decade in the recent past. These sun shirts are actually true to real size. They are slightly tight on the top. If you are busty or thick on top you may have to size up. Bottom line: Good shirt for sun blocking purposes when fishing or mostly standing still, but can't imagine running in it - it's way too hot and don't breath well.

Very long sleeves and very shiny

I'm 5'5, and long sleeves often are 1-2" too long on me. But the sleeves on this top (Size L) were 6" too long. And as others have said, it is VERY shiny. Otherwise, it is well made and fit me fine, but I am returning it.

Its very shiny

I did not realize this fabric was so shiny, very sci-fi, its OK because I actually like it. I like that its not too long like most shirts and the sleeves are just long enough for me, I have long arms, I still can't use the thumb holes but that is OK too. I went for a hike and was worried this would be like plastic wrap and be too hot but it actually breathes a little, still got a bit hot and took it off but on the way down put it back on and it was just the right amount of protection. I would recommend this shirt.

I wore it for 3 days on a mountain top while camping and no sunburns. Super comfy and lightweight. I’m a size 16 and XL fit me great.

Very small make

This shirt is extremely small make. I ordered a large and it’s super tight and very short in the waist. There is no stretch in the material. Fits more like a child shirt. I was disappointed.

Really pretty. Shiny material, a little like plastic. I found the sleeves very tight and a little long. Would suit a very slender person.
