You need these, even if you don't know why yet.

If you follow the directions on the package (stick it to the wall, slide the hook part off, let the adhesive sit for an hour or two before you hang anything off it), these suckers will stick to the wall like they're nailed down. I've got a blackout curtain hanging off three command hooks, and that thing ain't going anywhere. When you want to remove them, again, follow the directions. Pull straight down, not toward you, and it'll pop right off. Pull it toward you, and you'll rip the paint off the wall. If you never want to put a nail in a wall again, this is what you want.

Perfect for apartment curtains

These are perfect for apartment living. We just installed them, followed the instructions perfectly including using alcohol to wipe the walls down, setup our rod and curtains, and it held beautifully without strain or issue; definitely sturdy and the adhesion actually impressed my partner. Then, we realized the measurements were off, so we took the gamble and removed the side pieces we had hung to readjust. Going low and slow, we were able to take off the command strips without any damage to the wall or paint whatsoever. Yes, it left a little residue behind, but we wiped that down with alcohol again and there's no marks or wall stains left. We were able to reapply the command strips without issue, and they're hanging great! I did a LOT of research before I bought these, because we're really trying to minimize damage to the walls so we can hopefully get our full deposit back when we move out. So, for the reviewers that complained about these peeling paint, my thoughts are: pull straight down, SLOWLY, and you'll have ZERO issue. Note that I did buy two sets the first time to use 3 for the curtains in our living room. I wanted to make sure weight was evenly distributed and was cautious about how they'd hold up. I now do think you can get away with 2, but if you're like me go with 3 total and you won't have worries of the curtains falling down. Highly recommend. I'm now buying another set for our bedroom (have one extra, need two for the sides). Seriously cannot say how much I wish I did this years ago.

Very pleased

I used these on my office wall since I can’t damage the wall. They hold my backpack with everything in it, no problem. That includes laptop and iPad, so they hold a fair amount of weight. They’re also pretty. Bought some for home too. A little pricey but they’re metal, not plastic made to look like metal. Would definitely purchase again.

Great for Door Windows

I have several doors with windows that need curtains or blinds. I decided to replace the blinds. I had to make the curtains since they are an odd size. I used the Command hangars for the rod. They went up easily and have stayed there ever since. They look good, nice quality. I am happy with my purchase!
