Great oven

Lovely little oven that doesn’t heat my apartment to ninety degrees. Also, easy to clean but that’s a bonus.

A disappointment

With only one offset rack and two rack slots, it's very inflexible when it comes to toasting or broiling. So far nothing toasts or broils even. Both take minutes to heat up to proper temperature, so so this is not an oven you set, load, and walk away from. Inside height is also much smaller than what you get with a oven like that from Black+Decker, which is what I replaced with this. All in all, not up to Cuisinart's usual standard. Poor design.

Not good for small areas

Not good for small areas as they claimed. Gets extremely hot on the outside. Baked sweet potatoes and stuffed chicken. Came out good. Got to use your own timer. The baking tray is not easy to clean at all!

Cuisinart TOB-60N2 Toaster Oven Broiler with Convection is GREAT!

The Cuisinart TOB-60N2 is a great toaster oven broiler that is really handy to have in the kitchen! I donated my old toaster oven (another brand) and my toaster and now use the Cuisinart TOB-60N2 exclusively. Great kitchen appliance!

Simple toaster oven

Works great, I like the functions and it's very easy to use. Negatives are that there is no timer or automatic shut off for functions other than toast.

Potential Fire Hazard

Since 2011 used Cuisinart models TOB-195 (and a comparable model during the decade before), and purchased this model for our new renovated kitchen because it has the same dimensions as previous ones, and what promised to be a simpler “analog” controls experience. Although we had this for a few months, only got to use it today as our kitchen is now operational. I was heating up nuggets and reached to the back of the machine because I did not remember if it had a fan. Instead, I was surprised by how hot the back of the over is, and got very alarmed, because the unit’s power cord is in close proximity. This is, IMO, extremely dangerous and a potential fire hazard. I called Cuisinart and passed on their offere to send me another unit, because I think it is a design flaw. I wonder if any of the other owners experienced something similar. I reported to Amazon and will be able to return the unit. I decided to depart from Cuisinart (the TOB-195 also had an issue where one could easily get burned by a metal plate on the open door, an issue I encountered many years ago but did not report) and ordered a Toshiba toaster-oven. Amazon’s customer service was great, as usual.

Not sweat the small stuff

This is the second time I’ve purchased this oven. I love it for quick meals and snacks. No need to fire up the oven and end up heating the whole house.
