Put the 6 slides in the upper position to lower the hat on your head

Just got the lift 50 in white/black cap style. It was a serious thought process to spend 140 bucks on a hard hat. But I did, so i put it on and i about went through the roof how uncomfortable the headgear is. It's like it's made for a child's head. But then i realized your able to lower the headgear because it has 2 separate tracks it slides on. So i dropped the 6 slides to the upper slot and now it sits lower on my head. Still not sure about how much it slides or jiggles around maybe that's part of the shock absorption, time will tell how it holds up in a structural steel shop. I'm used to the standard jackson hard hats. One other thing I noticed on the cap style is the brim is much longer than standard hard hats.

Most comfortable

So far so good. This hard hat is lighter than any other that I tried in 20+ years of construction. It is also the best ratcheting system and most comfortable by far. Especially if you have a fat melon head like I do you will want to use the lift ratcheting system. Already scratched it but don’t care. It is a bit pricey but probably worth it.

Comfort

Super light weight, I’m a heavy equipment operator and i normally take my hard hats on and off when I’m on and off my equipment and this one I forget it’s even on. Feel like a normal hat

Terrible

Heavier than an eleven dollar msa full brim, paint chips off easily, and the headband is terrible. Most umcomfortable hard hat suspension ive ever tried. Every point that there is a band in the head band digs in, especially the two in the front on either side of my forehead.

Great helmet but bend tabs inside more if cradle hurts head.

Fits perfectly and is extremely light. Only thing I don't like and I'm not sure why it happens but after an hour or 2 of wearing it the cradle seems to squeeze my head too tightly even if I loosen the adjustment. My head is an XL size so that may be the case, not sure. Also the pivot point on the cradle has little metal rings that pull hair out when you take it off. Not super impressed with the cradle portion after the amount spent on it. I figured out why it's so tight, the little plastic pieces that hold the cradle were bent minimally to spring the cradle inward for smaller head individuals. To fix the issue I just bent them out more and now I can wear the hard hat all day without any complaint ????????

MALA CALIDAD

Es un casco que ocupo solo en visitas de Obra, no lo he ocupado ni 30 veces y es una lastima que un remache vital para el soporte se desprenda solo por querer ver la etiqueta dónde trae la certificación. Esta increíble el aspecto del casco pero es para protejernos.
