Great Product

I'm super happy with my purchase. This product is something I keep and reuse, but it's cheap enough, where if I lose something, I'm not too upset about it. It's fairly sturdy and leakproof, but as with most things, it's not perfect. At first, I was upset that the bonus travel lid for the spout of the cup was missing, but I contacted the manufacturer, and they responded right away. They said they were getting their shipment of travel lids in a week and they would ship me the missing item as soon as they received it. Well, 1.5 weeks later, I received what they promised and more...excellent customer service.

Ended up being a favorite

I liked having utensils and containers special for my baby that I didn't have to worry about when we were out. Grandma knows these are ours. She'll set them aside from us. After awhile, I even started leaving a few at her place to avoid needing to remember them. I keep a few empty cups and utensils in our diaper bag and use the containers to pack snacks for outings. Now. I have plastic tupperware and my kids don't mind eating from adult forks. So the selling point for me was the sippy cup. I love the sippy cups. I am guilty of trying out a lot of sippy cups. I've even spent quite a bit on these "cups" that promise a lot for the hefty price tag. But here's the thing A plastic cup is a plastic cup. They all leak to some capacity. As long as the leaking is not taking place while your child is drinking from it-- it serves it's purpose. That is, training your kid to drink from a real cup. (My oldest, who is nearing age 2 is not yet drinking from a real cup. However, if he gets his hands on one, he enjoys pouring the contents onto himself). Yes. This cup will leak if you put it in your bag full of water. I bring them out empty and fill them up when we get to our destination. (It's surprising how many birthday parties we've been to where I'm handed a glass of water for my kiddo... whose dying of thirst and his mom forgot his sippy. I left parties often over the summer whith a topless child and a wet shirt balled up in my hand). This cup was perfect. I also bring one with for walks.. outings to the zoo. I open my water bottle and fill it up outside from my water bottle. If he spills it or drops it, no big deal. My youngest girls are breastfed. They drink from bottle with no problem.. but have only done so two nights that I've been away from them. Since there is no attachment, I've started using these to get them used to cups. I like these because there's no stopper so they don't have to learn to adjust from stopped up cups to non stopped up cups. Without the stopper, this one doesn't leak excessively like other cups I've removed the stopper from. I like teaching my kids about colors with these cups. Mix yellow and blue to get green! (Not that that's a reason to buy a cup... but it's one of the reasons I like this one). The price of this cup is wonderful. After a year, all of my cups look horrid. They go through the dishwasher daily and they have that dishwasher haze that plastic items get over time. These can be tossed. When they melt in the dishwasher after falling to the bottom-- it doesn't make me cringe. I like this product. I highly recommend.

Not Take and Toss, Should be Called Keep and Wash

Bought this back in 2012 when we were looking to take snacks and drinks out and about and didn't care if they got lost or if they were dropped in dirt we could just toss. However after using them for the first time, my attitude quickly changed and there was new rule that these are to NEVER be thrown away. As the product description states, these are both dishwasher and microwave safe and I can confirm those are facts. My Favorite Points: 1. Big enough to hold enough, but small enough to be very convenient 2. Thin and light, but very strong and excellent quality. 3. The lids SNAP into place firmly and there is no question if the bowls or cups are closed 4. Even with the firmly snapped into place lids, they are not difficult to remove Here's an embarrassing anecdote. I left one of these bowls sealed with those Gerber dissolvable wagon wheels for over a year and probably close to two years in the trunk of my car (embarrassing that I don't clean my car often enough). I found it last month and through multiple seasons, temperatures over 100, and extremely high humidity, I opened it up and those snacks looked just like the day I put them in the bowl. I obviously cannot speak to how fresh they tasted as they went straight to the trash, but they were still crispy as I broke them in half to see. I see rave reviews about these dating back to 2007. 5 years later when I purchased, still the same quality as reviewed initially. In todays market place, companies start cutting corners and quality to maximize their profits. The First Years did not do that and it speaks volumes for the company. Fast forward 2 more years and now we have another one on the way. We still have multiple cups, bowls and forks/spoons, but have lost some lids, etc so purchasing this again. For the same price as a formula dispenser, we can get this set and use the small containers for formula. Then have larger bowls, cups, etc for when the child gets older basically for free. If there are any quality changes from our initial purchase 2 years ago, I will update accordingly.

Great Value

This pack is great for weaning and despite being called 'semi-disposable', they have gone through the top shelf of the dishwasher several times and are still in good shape. They also double up as great 'bang bang' toys when you're out and someone is bored.........
