Perfect for smoothies or purees

These cups are so inexpensive, yet the quality is really not bad. Not exactly leak proof as drops might come out of the straw if tilted or thrown by a toddler (but they don't let more than a few drops out, which is wonderful), and would like to point out that NO cup really is leak proof. I have tried the cups that claim to be leak proof, have valves, but they still leak a little if thrown or tilted. Further, these straws are big enough to allow the toddler to drink purees or smoothies from the cups, this is impossible with the cups with valves (and if possible, cleaning those valves is a nightmare). The only complaint I have is there is no way to predict what color you will get. I was hoping to get at least one red cup, as the picture shows 2 red cups, but I got 2 blue, 1 green and 1 yellow cup (not a deal breaker but I found it a little disappointing). Like other reviews state, the lid has to be completely secure on the cup first, before you insert the straw, otherwise liquid comes out of the straw. I have seen this with other types of cups too, so nothing different really. Overall, for the price, these are a steal! The bright colors of the cups, lids and straws look beautiful.

Great cups for kids

Great cups for kids! Easy to hold, clean. The one down side is I don’t have a whole lot of strength and they were hard to open.

Good cup, bad description

This is a good cup as far and straw sippys go. Nice seal to the lid and around the straw. You do have to push the straw in before you can put liquid in, other wise the liquid squirts out the straw. How ever I order the neon and regual colors of this sippy and didn't get neon colors they sent me 2 or the same colors. Was disappointed in that. And for anyone that likes to have matching color lids, cups, and straw you won't get that less you pick multiple packs in the stores, and even then you'll end up with a few that won't have matching straws.

Great product, bad shipping

I love these cups for my kids, but the package came damaged inside of the Amazon box and was missing 3 lids. I would have returned them for a new package, but I needed them the next day for daycare and I had some lids in my cupboard.

Great cups for toddlers

Once my toddler mastered straws we needed cups. After 2 years of use, got this set to replace the ones from 2 years ago. They hold up well and go through the dishwasher great.

A few issues but not a big deal.

These straw cups are similar to the ones that restaurants give out with the kid’s drinks. They are thick enough and sturdy enough to keep and reuse, but inexpensive enough that if you loose one, it’s no big deal. There are three small things that make these cups less than perfect: The lids do not have a tiny air hole in them. The cup with the lid on is so “air tight” that as you drink out of it, air is unable to get into the cup to fill the growing empty space. That creates a suction effect and makes it really hard to drink through the straw. A way to solve this is by poking a very small air hole in the top of the lid. (Cup lids usually have a tiny hole in them; these do not). There is a small dimple in the center of the lid, and you can use a sharp tool to poke a small air hole there. I used an awl on a cutting board to poke a tiny hole, and then a turkey skewer to make the hole a little larger. It’s a little difficult to stick the straw into the hole because it’s so snug—but it does go in with a bit of force. The colors are random and do not match as sets. The four cups I got are blue, green, yellow and orange; the straws are blue, green, yellow and red; and the lids are yellow, orange and two reds. It can be dangerous for a kid to walk around with a straw sticking out of cup because if they fall, it can jam inside their mouth. These seem fairly safe because the straws are short—the cups are 4 1/8 inches high, and the straws are 5 1/4 inches. I don’t recommend that you microwave these because (1) they are not that thick and (2) the liquid will shoot out the straw and then you have a mess to clean up. Don’t match

The cups actually served it’s purpose but I would like them more if the cups, lids and straws matched each other. I have a blue cup, straw and lid. The other 3 don’t have anything matching..

Great spill proof cups

These cups are great and a good price considering you get 4 cups. The OCD in me was initially annoyed that I couldn't match up the colours of cup, lid and straw but this is actually helpful because now I know I can't match them so I don't bother trying. The really can be thrown and not come open. I wouldn't say they are leak proof because whatever is in the straw can come out if tipped upside down or thrown but the lid doesn't come off. I wash them in the dishwasher and they have lasted well so far. My boy has bitten the straws a bit but they still work fine for now. I haven't tried putting another straw in. The straw is difficult to push in the first time but after that it's easier and the tight fit means my boy is less likely to pull it out (he still pulls it up and down a little but never all the way out... So far). My boy is 19months.

Well made but with one slight flaw

Really good quality plastic straw cups, that are thick and produce a leakproof tight seal. The cups are good size and the straw is locked into place nicely, making them easy for the child to drink. My only issue is that the straws are not valved, meaning when my niece sips her drink, whatever liquid remains in the straw, can easily leak out. It is only a drop or two, but still defeats the purpose. 3/5 ( Click “Helpful” if this helped )

Perfect cup for smoothies

I brought these cups for my grandson, he loves smoothies. Excellent product, no spillages as the lid and straw fit perfectly. Would highly recommend. Extremely happy with my purchase ***** 5 stars.

Great cups!

Really impressed with these, might go back and order more. My only issue is with the name - 'Take and toss isn't exactly accurate, as my toddler has literally taken it from my hand and thrown it straight on the floor (after asking for a drink.... silly me for getting him one) - and it does actually pop the lid and spill, so not exactly living up to it's name but still very good. One tip - buy a pack of the large milkshake straws and cut in half instead of trying to wash these reusable straws. I'm not for wasting plastic but washing out straws (especially after a smoothie has gone through them) is just a pain - so using the disposable straws and recycling them if possible is a much easier way to do it.

Brilliant baby cup

I'm using these for my 11 month old son. We tried the weighted straw cups but they were very hard for him to get a drink from and there are a lot of parts to wash! These are brilliant though. We taught him how to drink from the straw by gently squeezing the cup to bring the water to the top of the straw and he got the hang of it straight away. While they aren't leak proof, the cups don't spill when knocked over. The lids stay tight on, even when thrown. They're cheap and do the job perfectly!
