Fixed a leak

Had a 15 yr old delta faucet that was leaking around the base. Problem was the old nut had a lit of water deposits and could not get very tight. Bottom line is that this fixed the leak.

Worked for 1960s Delta Two Handle Bathroom Faucet

My home was built in the 1960s, and I was looking to replace the old bonnet nuts (which were badly scratched by whoever worked on them before I acquired my home) that secured my Delta faucet stems on a two handle bathroom faucet. I recently needed to replace both the cold and hot water side Delta faucet stems and rubber seats and springs, to stop leaks (the old faucet stems had cracks in them), and the old bonnet nuts were not in good shape. These new bonnet nuts are the same size as the original ones and also the same color, though they do not weigh as much as the original ones (just a tad lighter). But the important part is that the new bonnet nuts fit around the faucet stems perfectly.

Perfect fit. Replaced the original from a Delta Victorian collection two-handle faucet which no longer worked and was leaking.

Quality product.

Quality product. Delta original parts. Hard water took it toll on the nuts on my faucet. It was easier to replace them than trying to Restore old ones. Highly recommend.

... to be loosen up with channel lock and look like it's going to break

The original nut that I have need to be loosen up with channel lock and look like it's going to break, but this one is easy with just crescent wrench.

Beats reconditioning the old bonnet nuts.

As advertised. Beats cleaning the old nut's threads after replacing the mechanism inside as they're a pain to wire brush from the inside. Might as well do the job completely and replace everything possible.
