That it fits almost all shower heads

Old house, long story short it's the only way I can shower or tear open the wet wall and change the plumbing. The only thing for me is that when rotating the ball joint up it doesn't stay exactly where I want it but, it works and very well.

Does the job, little pricey.

For 40 bucks I expected at least the sleeve to also be metal, but oh well. The whole of my vinyl bathroom floor costs less than this doohickey. It matches, it seems strong enough, it fit my handheld, and it covered the holes from the old one. Good enough. If you, like me, are looking for a replacement to a broken/old bracket, the holes are 1 7/8s apart on center and mount vertically. You could mount them horizontally as well but it wouldn't be as strong and would probably leak. Gasket covers pretty securely even on a lightly textured wall.

Mount it about waist high for a wonderful boost in your showering quality of life!!

I'm happy with this product. We installed it in our shower right next to the shower bench at about shoulder height when sitting. It is wonderful to be able to temporarily "mount" the shower head (which is on a hose) in a spot where it's not raining down on my head when I'm sitting. I used to have to let the shower head hand free and it would jump all around while I had my foot on the bench to shave my legs. Now its safely mounted not raining down on my back, not hanging near the floor flopping around wildly! Putting this in our shower mounted about waist high has been WONDERFUL! I can even step into the shower with shorts on and hose off my lower legs and feet after getting dirty in the garden. Why oh why didn't we do this years ago!? Color is just as depicted and it is a nice metal product.

Good, though pricey.

I just finished putting up the Delta U4005-SS-PK Universal Shower holder. It took me less than ten minutes to install it on my tile shower wall. If you already own an electric drill and a 1/4" masonry bit the whole procedure is pretty much a no brainer. The holder fastens to the wall with a rubber gasket and two brass screws--an excellent touch for wet areas. The holder construction appears adequate, made of lightweight metal, plastic and rubber. It holds the shower wand securely, with just a little kickback when I turn it on. I wish it angled downwards a bit more, though. The stream from my powerful shower wand still shoots the full length of my bathtub and hits the opposite wall. Also, this is awfully pricey for what it is--I think it should cost about 20 bucks, tops. So, four stars. A good, though overpriced, holder.

A great 'Third Hand'.

I added a 'Hand Held' shower head, and this wall mount holder works perfect. It's close enough to the shower wall so as not to be in the way. I opted to use the (included) mounting screws. This was a Great Buy!!

Quality and Ease of Assembly

This fixture solved my need for hanging my Moen hand held shower head, with adjustable vertical orientation that no one could provide.

This was just what I needed because I didn't like where the holder was on the original one. The only down side is you can't really rotate it around because you have to REALLY tighten the black knob to keep it in one position without dropping down. That was a complaint of other reviewers, but it's good to find that perfect position and then lock it down.
