Dickies Quality - Great for School Uniform

Dickies seem to be the most durable pants for a Kindergarteners school uniform. I think the only thing that caught me by surprise, and led to a 4 star instead of 5 star rating, would be the fact that unlike other Dickies pants we have, these do not have the adjustable wasteband. Of course, there is nothing in the current description that says they have adjustable wastebands, but I was surprised they would make some with and some without. Overall, I would recommend these pants. In fact, I'm sure I'll be ordering more if I find them at the price I paid for the ones I ordered!

Good pants.

Fits great, greatcolor, length is perfect; it wasnt too long-room, I can tell you it will be ok until the end of winter and school year. Got it about two weeks ago, material looks durable but NOT like the picture makes it look, in picture looks more fine than in person. Over all Im very happy with my purchase.

Best uniform pants we've purchased.

The reasons why I love these pants are: 1.) they come in slim sizes. These are the only uniform pants that fit correctly. They do not have an adjustable waist, so if your child is very slim like mine, get the slim size for sure. She is required to wear a belt to school, but the pants would fit perfectly without a belt. 2.) they come out of the dryer unwrinkled and ready to go. With all of the others, I have to steam them in the dryer to make sure they look presentable. I also like that they are creased. Granted, they aren't as soft as other brands, but my 8 year old has never complained about them.

No adjustable waist band!

I would give these 5 stars but they don't have an adjustable waist! I didn't know pants still existed without an adjustable waist! I guess if I would taken the time to read the other reviews I wouldve known. I am just going to get a good belt because other than being a little loose in the waist for my skinny daughter they are great. True to size for sure and great quality.

sturdy school pants

The pants are made of a sturdy material and should hold up well for school use. They are much larger than expected, but if you are looking for a loose fitting pant for your child, these will be good. I had not ordered the slim fit because according to the measurements, they would have been too small, but the regular fit pants are very generously sized.

Run long in the leg

These are school uniform pants for my daughter. I ordered a size 8 as that is what my daughter wears. These are perfect in the waist but they are very long. I have to roll them up twice. (I dont sew) The quality is very nice and they are what you would expect other than the length being long.

Long enough, but way to wide!

Dickies are required uniform pants for our school, but oh, I wish they had adjustable waists, or were available in size slim! They wear well, retain color and quality, and are all-around wonderful, except for the sizes. I've had the problem with all three girls, but this daughter is the skinniest. I always take tucks in the top, but with four pockets, there is only so much room for tucks, and these literally fall off. She'll just have to keep wearing the size 6, which is tucked at the top, and above her ankles at the bottom.
