Good Cap Light.

I attach it to the visor my bicycle helmet and it is perfect for lighting both my right and left, handlebar gear shifters. At night, I can now see both selected numbers of the gear shifters perfectly with this light on my helmet as well as other devices on my bicycle's handlebars. They also do provide some illumination of the road immediately ahead of my bicycle, but of course, much less than my regular LED handlebar lamps; actually they are not even comparable for this use. This lamp is useful for close vision within four feet of your eyes. Other factors to consider are: The button batteries do not last much longer than 24 hours use, so I bought several pairs. The lamp itself is small and lightweight. I appreciate that they are reasonable in price and the necessary (2) button batteries are available through Amazon also at a reasonable price.

No way

The light is supposedly designed to fit on the brim of a cap - no way. The brim would have to be so thing as to be unable to hold the light in place. Nice light, but for me utterly useless.

Pretty nice for the price

Bought one of these at Target for around 6 bucks. Clips nicely, easily and snugly, not likely to fall off. Pretty bright, on a trail in total darkness it will light up a path 4-6 feet wide and 20 feet in front of you. Soft white light and uniform. Real lightweight as in you barely feel it on the brim of a cap. If weight/size is an issue, buy one of these. Easy on/off, easy battery replacement. I`ve worn mine in the rain several times and have had it for almost 4 years now, not a bit of trouble..... For a few bucks more you can get something more powerful (and larger/heavier), but this is one of the lightest weight/compact brim lights I have used. Overall for 6 bucks it fits the bill..........
