My hair found LOVE in DOVE!!

This shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner was wonderful on my hair! (3d/4c hair texture). The shampoo wasn’t too lathery and rinsed easily, the conditioner rinse out easy and quickly detangled my hair. The fragrance was not overbearing and my hair loved the moisture! It’s pricey but worth it!!

Not quite as expensive as matrix... Nor as good.

I wash my hair every day or every other. The shampoo is gentle enough to use daily. The conditioner has enough slip to detangle my hair. The leave in conditioner works really well as a standalone styling product, but it will leave a residue if you use too much at once. All in all, for my hair texture it works. Matrix hydrasource is a better product though if you can get it on sale.

For the haters

I don't know why there's so much negativity about these products. The scent is absolutely NOT overpowering; it's quite light and comforting. The products themselves work beautifully together, provided you have curly, dry hair. If you don't and you use these products, please don't be angry when your hair looks and feels heavy and greasy. The shampoo is NOT a "gelatinous slime" that doesn't lather. The conditioner is very much a super slip product. My dry curly hair is moisturized, soft, and has noticeable great shine and curl definition.

This conditioner saved me from cutting off my hair!

I have very long (past my hips) 2C hair and had been using Suave Professionals Deep Moisture conditioner since it came out about 20 years ago. They changed their formula recently and it no longer detangles my hair. I've been trying all sorts of new conditioners (Nexxus Humectress, Suave Professionals Lavender and Almond Frizz Calming conditioner, DevaCurl One Condition Decadence) and all of them had the same problem. I would detangle my hair starting from the bottom and every time I would move up I not only had to brush out the new tangles, but also detangle everything I'd just brushed. It was so frustrating, time consuming and terrible for my hair! This conditioner keeps my hair detangled SO much better, maybe even a little better than the Suave originally did! It also makes my hair look better/less frizzy when it dries. I was at the point of cutting off the hair I've been growing my whole life, so I'm extremely grateful to this conditioner! The leave in conditioner seems similar and I've been using it too. The shampoo isn't great for my hair, but most shampoos aren't. I use it maybe once a week and use my As I Am cowash the rest of the time. The shampoo also has a strong vanilla scent that I don't like, but the conditioners don't have that. One thing I do wish is that I could buy the conditioner separately, I haven't had any luck with that.

I loved this stuff until I realized it is not curly girl approved!

Really liked it until I found the curly girl method and found out that it it is not approved for this method and can leave buildup in your hair!
