Works better than expected

I’ve read that the “Solos” is the top rated smokeless wood burner. I have no experience with the “Solos”, but I cannot imagine it can perform any better than the “East Oak” that I purchased for a considerably lower price. The East Oak is all stainless steel and it arrived essentially ready to use. Because of the bottom vents it is very easy to light and is smokeless soon after lighting. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smokeless burner.

You don’t smell like smoke ????!

We just started using the fire pit. So far everything about this fire pit is wonderful. The heat it radiates is wonderful. The flame gets high and hot. Most of all, we can stay out here for hours and when we walk into the house we don’t smell like smoke!! For quite some time now I was unable to stay around the fire due to smoke. My allergies would go crazy and in the morning, well I would wake up with a migraine. So we did without a fire pit for years. Now, two nights in a row, I have been enjoying the the warmth of outdoor fire. I just love it. The only issue we have is the poker is somewhat damaged. It won’t stay together, no matter how much my husband tries to tighten it. It’s a bit disappointing because the fire get so hot that it’s hard for him to place another log on the fire. He literally has to hold the log at the edge and then just toss a little, then drop; hoping it lands where he wants it to. Other than that, it’s great.

Impressive

The media could not be loaded. ***Update*** I loved our 29" model so much but for smaller groups it is a little big. So I purchased the 21" model for smaller fires and to take camping with us. No regrets on purchasing two and now have the best of both worlds! ************************************************ I just purchased the 29" chisel model this week and had my neighbors over tonight to light it up for the first time. It is really big and perfect for a large group. No B.S., we were all very impressed with how quickly the fire lit up. I used 1 small fire starter and didn't have to coax it along, no effort whatsoever. We sat around it for about 3 hours. We have had many driveway fires over the years and this is the first time we weren't dodging the smoke, as promised. I used seasoned and green wood to keep it all from burning to fast. I asked my friends what number they would rate it at and we all agreed it was a 10 out of 10. I did have some issues with Amazon, so I emailed the company directly about it. Their responsiveness was super fast, they were very helpful and made sure everything was right. My only regret at the moment is that I did not purchase the lid. Even though I feel it is slightly overpriced and could use a handle, I ordered it anyway and I'm sure I will be very happy with that also. The 29" is a little heavy for me to lift but I managed. I would suggest ordering a mat to set it on and getting a pair of gloves that can tolerate high temperatures. Absolutely do not touch the side of this thing with bare hands and keep children and pets away from it. I'm looking forward to taking it camping in the near future as well as many years of enjoying it in the driveway. ????????????????????????????????????????

Buy it buy it buy it

Works as advertised just light ash when you get done. Order the cover for safety and it'll still let the fire burn out. You still get some smoke but overall way better than a regular firepit by a Huge margin!!

use this for a family campfire. The burn is clean and it does not make much smoke. Interesting flame design. It has a lot more blue down by the bottom. The fire is relatively small, but it's great not to have to be moving away from blowing smoke. It didn't come with a cover and so we bought one extra to keep the rain out and be able to close at night so that if it's still burning, the sparks aren't going anywhere

Smokeless, high heat output, durable, rust free, simple assembly, great price, quality product!

The media could not be loaded. This stainless smokeless outdoor fire pit is being sold by the brand east oak. At the time of this review, it is priced at 215 dollars with 211 ratings averaging at 5 stars on Amazon. It is made with 304 stainless steel and is a 3 part unit consisting of the 21 inch pan stove, a flame ring, and a removable ash tray. It also includes a long tool with a wood handle that operates as a fire poker and is used to remove the ash tray. Product Con’s: Other than the change in coloration of the stainless steel after repeated usage (which I expected and occurs with all stainless fire pits), I have not found a single con with this product to date! Product Pro’s: The price for this pit is extremely reasonable when compared to similar products. It produces a tremendous amount of heat that radiates a full 360 degrees. The heat can be from several feet away. It was felt level with the top of the fire ring and up and extends to the surrounding area in a mushroom cap like dome of heat. It did an excellent job burning off excess smoke. Upon the initial lighting of the fire or when a new batch of wood is added are the only times the smoke is apparent. Once the fire pit is heated or the new batch begins to burn thoroughly, the smoke is hardly noticeable. It cools faster than expected after a full burn and the ash cleanup could not be made easier, making this fire pit highly portable. The overall quality and product features are amazing. The built in stands and added vent holes at the base not only protect what’s underneath from heat damage, but I found that it allowed the fire to breath better, producing high heat and a steady burn. I could not be more impressed with this fire pit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy fire at home, camping, on RV trips, while tailgating, and at any party or outdoor gathering where I assure you, this fire pit will make all the difference!

East Oak is as good as it gets.

This is a good sized fire pit. It will burn through some would. Really good secondary burn so very little smoke. Absolutely no complaints and would make this purchase again in a heartbeat!
