Excellent shoe!
I made a last-minute panic purchase of these before a two-week trip to Europe when I realized it was going to not only be cold but also rainy for most of my trip. Best purchase I made in preparation! I knew my size from previous use of this shoe brand and they not only kept my feet warm and dry but the lower ankle area in the back reduced the chance of any aggravation or blister. I can't say enough good things about this shoe! Love them!

Gorgeous shoes, true to size
Wow, Ecco has done it again. I used to have the white leather low-top version of these. These feel incredible out of the box, feel true to size (I’m an EU 40 and ordered the 9-9.5), and the leather is buttery soft. Such a sleek shoe. I’m so excited to wear these! On first looks these are worth the $120 price tag (I got them on sale).

I have several pairs of Ecco Soft 7’s they are all comfy and look good. This is coming from someone who really hates sneakers. These high tops are the best! They look fashionable and have the same comfort level as all the other Soft 7’s. The arch support is there as well as the rubber nubs on the sole. I tend to twist my ankle easily and stopped wearing platform type shoes. I feel very secure and grounded when I walk in them. I adjusted the laces so they are not too tight, and are easier to put on my feet. I do wish they had a zipper, but that is not a dealbreaker.

These are the best high tops! This will be my third pair. Unfortunately, Ecco has discontinued this style! Wish they would bring it back!!! Thankful to have found it here! 5 star!

Buy IN STORE! The leather quality is inferior to my previous (same) store purchase! Counterfeit??
Like the style! Dislike the price for the inferior leather...not as thick as my store purchase of same shoe. Dislike that Ecco discontinued the low/dipped profile along the posterior ankle. MY STORY (redundancy was intentional): This is my second pair. My original pair was purchased in the store. The quality of the leather is inferior to my original store purchase. Ecco has set the standard of their own quality...so I value this purchase under $60. This shoe does not meet their quality standard! I chose to keep the shoe only because of the discontinued style! I truly suspected this to be a counterfeit product! I love this style, which is discontinued, so I am keeping it. Honestly, the inferior leather quality in this set inspires a price reduction from seller...or to suggest that buyers choose their plan B choice over this one. Again, I am replacing a previous pair and loved the style and previous quality. This style is discontinued and I , the consumer, am consenting to the inferior quality. If this shoe was closer to $60...it is a bargain for design only! Consider that i am purely basing this on the standard they set with my first pair...I hope this helps!

These high top sneakers are amazing! They are leather and very comfortable and versatile for daily use. I found them to be a bit roomy and hope they do not stretch too much due to being leather. I like the cut out in the back of the sneaker I find it adds to the comfort of the shoe. Fashionable and functional.

Comfortable soles
These look great and the leather feels like great quality. I had to exchange for a size up but this was easy with Amazon. I'm pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the soles are. Note that they do have a slightly odd cut out back to them, but I don't feel it's at all noticeable if you wear black ankle socks with them, and it looks ok - not any major fashion trend but not bad. They would benefit from a zipper to get them on more easily, especially since there's no heel loop to hold onto. The toe box is relatively small and I find it's rather shallow vertically so my toes are touching the leather on top of them, which isn't ideal. I bought on a major deal at around £35 but if they were much more than this the fit issue with the toe box would be more of a problem. As it stands, the soles are comfortable enough and they look really good so I'm happy with them.

I do really like these high tops. My only criticism is they are really difficult to get on because of the low cut styling at the back of the shoe. Shoe Horn is a necessity. But they are great looking!

This pair of shoes is amazing, the quality of the leather is exceptional. I tried them in the Ecco shop. My size is usually 6 (39 EU) but they were a bit tight so I tried the size 7 which fitted better. Since they don't have half sizes in the shop, I couldn't try the size 6.5. I loved them but £125 was over my psychologic price so thought I will check on Amazon and found them the same day at £78.30! I ordered them straightaway size 6.5 (40 EU) with free standard delivery. I received them 3 days after (as usual fantastic service from Amazon!) and they fit me perfectly :-) To be honest, I don't see any difference with the size 7 I have tried in the shop. So if you want a great and confortable pair of shoes, just don't hesitate, theyare worth every penny!
