It Covers It

Nothing too special. I think because I have my handles installed at the longest setting, it doesn’t quite fully cover to the ground. Also can’t get it to pull fully down over the front housing for the augers. It’s fine. It will keep the dust and dirt off.

No Instructions

These drift cutters are much thicker and sturdier then I expected. My biggest complaint is the box did not come with any instructions inside it or on the box as to how to install them. Plus there are no YouTube videos on how to install them. Because of that I gave them a lowe score.

Works great - deceptively heavy which is great when removing ice/snow buildup.

Works as advertised removing snow/ice buildup between the blower blades. Deceptively heavy which is great given what it does. Unfortunately, our EGO snow blower doesn't have a clamp to store the tool, which would make it more convenient to use, but we a happy we purchased it just the same. No assembly required.

Ego could take a lesson from Toro when it comes to fitting a equipment storage cover.

This cover seems to be made of a oday material. And the EGO name stands out brightly. But, it fits like a potato sack. It is a very generic fit and I doubt it will stay on when the wind blows. The elastic around the bottom just doesn't fit snuggly and the cover is a bit short. And get this... the cover comes with a storage bag. When will you use this... the cover will be on the machine nine months out of the year and between storms. I like the snow blower so far and have ordered more of their compatible yard devices, but this cover is a marginal effort by EGO.

Be careful! Batteries must be removed before putting this cover on the EGO Snow Blower.

The cover fits nice and seems to be durable. However there is a safety concern. While pulling the cover in place, it pressed the control lever down and the snow blower began coming at me. I was able to jump out of the way and grab the cover as it was going by which stopped the unit before it hit my fence. Be sure to take the batteries out before placing the cover on!

You get what you pay for

Very well made, good quality. I keep my handles high. For seasonal storage, you could drop the handles by notch lower to cover the machine from ground up.

Doesn’t fit the machine very well

For the high price of a seemingly basic cover it should fit better — felt like I was doing something wrong trying to cover it completely. Sits off the ground and wants to come up off front.
