Beautiful Setting

It was time to upgrade our dishes for entertaining and every day use. This dish set really fills all our needs. They are pretty and durable. They are stoneware, so they may chip if not careful and they are a tad heavier than our last stoneware set. All in all, it's a good purchase and we have no regrets. When we received our dishes, three pieces had some marks and manufacturing defects. I called the seller and without question, they are shipping replacements. This is a company I will return to for other items!

Loved these dishes but you should know...

I bought four sets and have zero regrets. We love them and their artsy quality. There is a definite WOW quality to a set table with them, but you should know a few things. They are very heavy and they are not petite. A stack of them weighs A LOT! They are also perfectly imperfect (in my eyes). If you want uniform design and exact glazing matches between pieces, look elsewhere. Think of these as something you would get from an artisan, but keep the price you're paying in mind to moderate your expectations. There are some crooked lines, slight bleeding of the glaze, small drips, subtle shade differences, and other inconsistencies between pieces that I personally think gives the set lots of character. But this will bother some people who want manufactured perfection. Lastly, we had one broken piece out of all four shipped boxes, and Elama's customer service was FANTASTIC in getting that piece in the mail to us within days. Overall, I am very happy with the value and quality of this product!
