Hour hand gets stuck
Clock works but the hour hand gets stuck a lot on the second hand. This makes the time stop.

I purchased this clock to be on my covered patio, visible from my pool, in hot as F Arizona. As soon as i got it, i installed a new AA Der a sell [sic] battery. Well, i have never seen this before, but the clock runs fast. I have reset it twice and it is like 5 minutes fast within 30 minutes of operating. This is inside, in 75* degrees. So if the "extreme" temps of AZ are an issue, I do not know how this will operate. But I need a clock to be fairly accurate with the times. I do not really care about the temp or humidity; but time is important. I will continue to test and monitor. Update to follow.... UPDATE- the clock seems to be holding the correct time after running all night. This will be hung outside, in the shade, where its 112*F in Phoenix. So we will see about the "extreme" weather warning sticker on the back as others have mentioned in reviews.

I had an outdoor clock for quite a few years. I would bring it in during the winter but I liked having it out in the summer when I was swimming. Over the years the material they used for the face of the clock (some type of plastic?) started to curl and it impeded the hands of the clock. I tried gluing it back down but it didn't work. So I finally tossed it and got this one. I've only had it a short time so I don't know how many years it will hold up but so far so good. It does get direct, afternoon sun so that may eventually have an effect. I like the second hand for when I'm testing my pool water and have to check things at 20 seconds, 30 seconds, etc. I do like having the humidity meter and the thermometer, although since the late afternoon sun is directly on this clock the temperature is not accurate at those times.

Accurate device but design not optimal
This clock is an attractive and accurate clock. All of the features work well - the clock, the thermometer, and the humidity measurement all reflect accurate information. The only problem with this clock is that it is often difficult to read the time from more than 15-20 feet because of the design of the hands. Instead of being a single black surface, they are thin surfaces outlining an open space. So it takes some eye-straining to read from across the room. I wish I had purchased another clock even though I could not find one with the thermo and hygro that had solid clock hands.

Why put a thermometer on a clock if it's not even close....
Clock is good, thermometer has not even been close. Reading 40 when it's 75 outside. Humidity level is so vague not sure how close that is. Plus an outdoor clock will be looked at from afar. In order to read the temp and humidity you need a magnifying glass. So I guess it's better off those not working. Only reason for 3 stars is it's keeping time correctly so far.

Didnt last a year
The first year was great. The clock is stylish and light weight. We have had ours for a year and it has stopped working. Has always been used in a covered outdoor location (shouldn't matter since it's sold as an outdoor clock). Lately the time has been falling hours behind even with brand new, brand name batteries. Now it basically just stopped working. Good a good year of it. Would be upset if I paid more for this, but I got what I paid for. Would not buy again - I'll invest more in something more durable and of higher quality.

Handsome and easy to read
I'm very happy with this. The second hand makes a faint ticking noise, so if a steady sweep or silent motion is important, then this may not fit. But it's exactly what I wanted and looks great.

This is a terrible product; avoid buying
The Equity clock constantly loses time. I have replace the battery four times in the past months. It doesn't work in the cold and is not much better in the heat I had hoped it would get its timekeeping act together but it just never di. It is a cheap and poor quality clock

Cheap Chinese Quality!
This clock only worked for one season outdoors. It spent the winter inside. We were hanging it back outside and the hands were just swinging loose. Cheap Chinese Quality! Avoid!
