Works well
The plastic on the base is not very sturdy. I punched it and it bumped into the wall and it broke open. Luckily I was using sand bags and didn’t use water or dumb the sand in.

Easy to assemble and light in box
I was worried about how heavy the box would be but it was light. The top has foam rings. Light to move but definitely has weight when hitting. I put some bricks in bottom as water would not be heavy enough as I didn’t get sand yet. Even the bricks make it bounce around so sand would be the way to go once you put it in it’s permanent home. I’m excited to use with my boxing gloves which is recommended.

Worth the price
I like this product. It's more durable than some state. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the holes for the screws were misaligned which will probably cause problems in the future.

Idk if its what i put in the bottom (water) but it moves so much when i punch it plus water splashes out

Good for the price
This is a great product for the price. Except if you have someone strong punching and kicking it. Expect it to move all over the place or fall over even with weight in the bottom. It's a good little back to get your aggressions out on a bad day.

Not a bad punching/kicking bag.
We like it, but the lower plastic attachment that screws onto the base often comes loose. We have to check it after use to see if it needs to be tightened. Otherwise, if not tightened, the plastic could possibly crack or break. Also, use sand in this. Four 60 pound bags of tube sand filled it up perfectly.

Awesome for the price, a proper review
I feel like a lot of people who are reviewing this product have never practiced martial arts or thrown a punch before. I'll give you a proper review: I purchased it when it was on sale for about $115 CAD on Amazon. As a 6 foot, 180 pound male who has had practice in striking before, I am impressed at the quality of this product... for the price. Let me get into what you should expect. It is perfect for training technique. This by no means is a bag you should be throwing haymakers at 24/7, anyone who has striking knowledge knows that a hanging heavy bag is preferable in that instance. That being said, I can comfortably strike this thing without feeling like I have to pull my punches because it is relatively well-built. Of course, it is going to move around a bit if you're hitting it with some force. It came with one weird screw, but otherwise assembly was easy if you understand how a screw and a hole works (lol). If you are just beginning, this product is amazing for you. If you are experienced like myself, it is worth a purchase if you're constantly away from home either studying (like myself) working, etc. and you need a secondary striking unit. So take it from me, someone who has experience and who has actually used multiple bags before. If you're balling on a budget, this is the best you're going to find anywhere.

Review after a week of everyday use
I bought this Everlast punching bag to continue my training without going to the studio during the COVID-19 Lockdown. This product does the trick at an affordable price, so the stars I gave are relative to the price of this product. It was easy and fast to assemble. I used water in the base because I didn't want to go get sand from the hardware store (But will use sand once the COVID-19 Lockdown is lifted). The water works just OK as it is lighter than the same volume of sand so there is some movement to the unit. I train in Muay Thai and Hapkido and it serves me fine at home BUT it will leave you wanting if you wail and go 100% on it. I would use the same type of strength if light sparing without pads with a partner, so 50% or less. It's just too light for a full on leave no prisoner hitting session. If you have experience with strike training and know how to go light and work on technique and cardio, then this products will serve your needs So here are my Pros: - Easy to assemble - Takes up little space - No hanging cable and rack to worry about - Adjustable height for different types of punching and kicking exercises, low enough for a > 8 y.o. to use - Option of using water/sand as base - Affordable - Instant access to strike training for technique, accuracy and cardio. Cons: - Base will move if you hit too hard - Not for strength slug 'em out training. - Some water will leak if you continually strike hard at it This product will be a regular part of my training at home even when things get normal again, so in summary I do recommend this product with the price, pros and cons in mind.

Excellent free standing punching bag value
At the price point, you won't find a better value for a quality free standing bag. Based on other reviews, please set your expectations accordingly! I use this more to practice speed and accuracy. Like ANY freestanding bag, whether water or sand in the base, it will probably move around a bit. I suspect it won't take heavy punishment. So if those are your requirements, invest in a non-freestanding HEAVY bag (with stand or ceiling mount). I had no troubles with assembly, but some advice: The outer ring has marks - make sure they are lined up. I suggest quickly putting in each bolt by hand 1/4 of the way in - go every other bolt hole, then do the remainder. Next tighten bolts most of the way in a "star pattern" (like you might tighten nuts on a car tire). Then go around again for the final tighten - don't overdo it! At then end of the day it's plastic and may break. Do inner ring same way. I filled it with water - no problem and no leaks. If you want heavier, do sand in bags. In summary, very happy with this purchase and I recommend it.

Great exercise bag
Assembly was fairly easy, the trick is to not tighten the bolts until all are in place. I filled mine with sand because other reviewers complained of leaking water. I keep it at the lowest setting as I’m 5’6” so it takes punches and kicks well. When set at a higher level it has more kick back. It is a great exercise tool.
