I will be updating this review over time, but wanted to have an initial 24 hr feel, 30 day then 3-6 month. I, am a big guy. I have never had great luck with chairs that dont have 4 legs. I am 6ft2, and im pretty close to 300lbs, although i have been that big before. This chair fully assembled, is exactly what it says. Big and Tall. The box came in extra taped up, but having worked in retail before, when big boxes get moved a few times in warehouse the boxes never last. Everything was inside the box and building the chair took me under 30 minutes. Besides the packaging, the main reason im docking a star for, has to do with installing the screws for the arms. I had to do some intersting stuff to help me like partially thread the left arm a little each time so the threading would catch correctly. If they ever update the chair, maybe some plastic threaded tubes from the side to internal frame would help. I had to push the chair on the wall, then screw to get it right but it made it, locked down tight and is very very sturdy. I feel that this chair, as long as my cats dont tear it up and i buy a cover, will out last me. The padding i feel comfortable in and it doesn't feel like i can remotely pancake it at my size. I recently had a back operation. The support i need is there and doesn't bother my lower back at all. It allows me to sit in most situations since my surgery comfortably, so far. I read reviews about users complaining about how high and that the chair was hard to tilt back. Well it's a big and tall chair, so i expected it to be too tall fir a desk already, most desks sit at 24-28 inches high. The tilt feature made me laugh. I had to turn the lower knob a crazy amount left till it finally stopped on me, then the chair was very eay to tilt back although, i need a foot prop to keep it that way. Not complaining there as i already have that! This chair is the real deal. If you're within 6ft-7ft tall range and 350-350 lbs range i feel this chair should be pretty dang perfect for most big guys, however i feel if youre worried to do yourself a favor and check furniture stores, test there then make a sound decision. For this chair my hieght recommendation has to do with if you like to lean back in the chair. Squared off at the tallest setting it is for me a perfect fit, but i'd say it would bother someone who is taller by a few inches than me, but can be solved with a slight lean back using a foot prop. Some reviews mentioned welding issues and spots on the finishing, cuts on ankles as well. All surfaces are awesome looking on my side and it doesn't geel like its going to cut me, but the wheel base, id keep in mind to keep feet on top of it, and not wheel forward with a foot that could slip under. It's thinner and would do damage for sure if you're sliding forward with ankles fully down. I dont find this to be a problem for me. I know it is hard for big folk to find sturdy furniture and in my case here i know at the moment i am lucky. Ill update the review with photos and more soon! 10/9/18 I added a few photos, with the chair cover I ordered as well as I often sit with no shirt on at home, and didn't want the leather to stick on me after a while. I got the leather on sale otherwise id have got the cloth edition. Here n there I ha e had to re tighten some bolts bot takea seconds and isnt a hastle. This chair is great! 6-2-2019 Well i have had this chair a while and it still looks great, is still comfy and while every week or so i feel im.re tightening a couple acrews tbh its not that bad. This chair is the over all best bang for your dollar. If you're around 6'5 or shorter (maybe not under 5'6) this chair is a good option, especially if your in the 200lb range
