Works as Intended

Make sure you follow the directions fully and you should not have issues. I have yet to have a failure, so I don't know how easy or difficult a correction would be, but my usage has been limited. Would be 5 star but the clear nature does create a thin clear gap beneath the cracks which impacts the appearance slightly but overall works as intended.

It didn't work (at first)

Edit: I gave it another try and here's how I got it to work. Instead of waiting for it to completely dry, like the instructions, recommend, I applied my top coat when the crackle medium felt a little sticky. It worked! ******* I tired using this several times thinking that I must have not used it correctly (i.e. didn't use enough crackle medium, didn't use enough top coat, used too much top coat). I read and re-read the directions and followed them. I even applied my top coat with an airbrush to avoid any possible damage to the crackle medium. It just didn't work. I'm really disappointed. It was a waste of time and acrylic paints.

Beautiful results on fishing lures

Worked better than I expected. However I didn't follow the directions exactly. I laid my base color (black) and then put a heavy coat of the crackle medium on the lure. Not so much that it was dripping but a heavy coat. Then before it was dry I sprayed the top coat (white) then hit it with a hair dryer until it was completely dry. The cracking happened almost immediately so you have to get the bait covered fast and get to drying.

Love this technique

I have only used this once at this time, however I love the look of this technique. I think after I use it a few times I will perfect it. I found you have to let it dry a little longer than it states before sealing it. But I do love this product and it was a good price.

Not bad, Not great

This product did ok. The crackle was really light. I ended up doing another coat to try to get it to crack more. Not bad but not great

Love it!

I was unsure if it would work better then just using clear glue, not only does it take less product it crackles better! It’s so easy to use and I was able to put more paint on it after the first layer wasn’t the look I was wanting! I didn’t have to start all over! This stuffs AMAZING! It was so easy and turned out beautiful!

Works fine. You need to experiment a bit with different paint and thickness.

Cracking

I seriously have tried so many brands of crackle with blah results so i thought y not give this one a try and was not expecting much .i was suprosed to see the results ! I got very good cracking large amd small. The bottle was a large size for the price so you really get your moneys worth:) i will be using this for my cracking needs for sure! If you have fustrration getting a good surface crack try this product i promise you wont be dissappointed
