Lock works
Fun to put together and lock works

Overall I'm happy with it
The teeth of the key broke the first time we tried it, but its still a fun little puzzle to put together and we use a bobby pin to pop the latch. My son was likely to lose the key anyway so not a big deal for us. If you're not comfortable with these kinds of puzzles, be aware there aren't instructions. We've had these before so we were able to assemble the chest without them, but it can be a bit frustrating the first time.

Actually opens
I thought this would be cool as a decorations for a Pirate party I threw. Little did I know, the thing actually opens and closes... and locks! It's still a plastic puzzle, but it was rather neat. Stays together well and provided a decent amount of challenge.

Great puzzle for the money
Great puzzle for the money. It was very challenging to put together - I do a LOT of puzzles and this one took me about 2hrs or so to complete. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the 4 little pins that you use to keep the puzzle together - you have to really force them in and I'm afraid that if I do, there will be no way to get them back out if I ever want to take it apart (without breaking the pins) and complete it again.

Challenging puzzles great for older kids, teens, or adults, not good for young kids
These puzzles seem like interesting little items, but don't make a mistake them for being like Lego block constructions. This is a PUZZLE, not a block building set and there are no instructions provided, just to clarify for anyone not familiar with these. We bought the treasure chest and the ship for our 6 year old son, who is very good at following advanced Lego directions. These puzzles were impossible for him to do and required my husband putting them together. Lots of tiny pieces and too frustrating for young kids. They do make cute little puzzles when they are done that display nicely on a shelf, so they might be great for a much older child/teen/adult to collect.

Fun first 3D
This was my first 3d Puzzle that wasn't shaped like a dinosaur skeleton and I enjoyed putting it together. As other reviews say, it's not perfect...a lot of the pieces don't fit perfectly, making you wonder if you got it right or not. But once you figure that out and just roll with it, you'll have a neat little box together in no time. I regifted it to a coworker who enjoyed the process of putting it together...which is what puzzles are all about, right?

Had fun with this one
This was my 4th 3D crystal puzzle I've put together, 3rd from this company "BePuzzled". They are fun puzzles, get your brain working, and look nice to display when completed. My only issue with this company is that the pieces themselves don't really snap/lock into place. The odd piece might, but majority do not. Sometimes I even question if that piece actually goes there because of how loose some fit together - but seeing as I completed the puzzle it did clearly go there. Also the pieces are more clear then colored, making it harder to put the puzzles together as I sometimes get confused with the under layer and have to keep feeling that's flat and what needs a piece, but over all I will keep buying them - they keep me busy while staying home during lockdown. Also, a bit expensive for the size but at least should last forever once together.

Good puzzle but missing a piece.
Puzzle itself was enjoyable enough until I noticed a piece missing. There should be two of the pieces shown in the photo.
